I was involved in providing various solutions, including a Wi-Fi solution for a large warehouse and retail company for their stores and headquarters. We provided some integration services for local Ukrainian enterprise companies.

| Author info | Rating | Review Summary |
|---|---|---|
| Juniper Technical Consultant at MUK | 4.5 | I worked on providing a Wi-Fi solution for a large retail company, using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance. Its valuable feature is its ability to analyze device information to detect and address issues automatically, though its continuous updates can be expensive. |
| Managing Consultant at a computer software company with 51-200 employees | 4.5 | I am using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for zero-touch provisioning, particularly valuable for edge switches. While it's effective, it struggles with advanced tasks like VXLANs. There's a virtual machine option for secure management, but it limits provisioning capabilities. |
| Network Design Specialist at a tech vendor with 10,001+ employees | 4.0 | We use Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for campus networking, finding the GUI access most valuable. However, the monitoring tool needs improvement and better vendor integration. Despite this, it provides a good ROI, saving time and reducing operational costs. |

I was involved in providing various solutions, including a Wi-Fi solution for a large warehouse and retail company for their stores and headquarters. We provided some integration services for local Ukrainian enterprise companies.
The customer chose this solution because it helped reduce the number of trouble tickets. It’s easy to deploy and troubleshoot, as the solution uses AI to identify root issues.
Mist analyzes all information from devices to detect issues and either resolves them automatically or provides recommendations on where the problems are and how to fix them.
This cloud solution is built on microservices, and Juniper continuously adds new ones to enhance performance or introduce additional services. These updates often include new features for routers, access points, firewalls, and network access control. The solution is constantly evolving and improving.
Some customers choose another vendor because it's very expensive.
I have been using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for about a year.
The product is stable and highly available.
I rate the solution’s stability a nine out of ten.
We can easily and quickly deploy and manage thousands of devices across different locations and countries.
We have 40 partners in 10 countries.
I rate the solution’s scalability a nine out of ten.
The cloud solution uses AI, so trouble tickets are opened automatically if a network issue occurs. Junior engineers can immediately see what happened, reducing about 70% of tickets for end customers or the Mist administrators.
Deployment is straightforward and quick. This solution uses templates that simplify configuring for many devices simultaneously. If some network devices miscontribute or have a problem in configuration, I can solve this problem without an administrator. It collects many parameters from each device, and after that, we can get good reports about working equipment and the network.
With this installation process, you must first prepare configuration templates in the cloud. After that, you can easily add new devices without further configuration. Once the devices connect to the cloud, they automatically receive the configuration.
It doesn't take more than one hour, depending on the network.
I rate the initial setup a ten out of ten, where one is difficult and ten is easy.
The cloud solution operates on a subscription model. If a license expires, you can no longer configure or monitor the device, though its existing configuration works without issue. To regain the ability to monitor and configure the device, you need to renew or add a new subscription.
You can purchase multiple subscriptions from a provider like Tampa for all your devices. Adding a single activation key to your cloud profile lets you activate the subscription for all devices at once. Buying a subscription individually for each device is unnecessary, making it easy and convenient.
I rate the product’s pricing an eight or nine out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.
This solution is excellent for educational institutions like universities and schools and large companies with multiple offices or large headquarters that require high-quality wireless services. It uses BLE, allowing you to offer indoor location services and Wi-Fi and network services, providing extra value.
Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten based on its features, but I would rate it five based on its pricing.
I am using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for zero-touch provisioning for your EX platform.
That solution does have an option for organizations that have security concerns about cloud management. There is a virtual machine option for managing devices, but it would be for a specific and limited use case, such as a government organization. However, this option would limit the ability for zero-touch provisioning.
The most valuable feature of Juniper Mist Wired Assurance is zero-touch provisioning for query edge switches. You can connect the switch directly to your edge locations and then directly onboard, similar to the Cisco Meraki solutions.
The configuration aspect of the solutions is relatively new, but I have had positive experiences. However, for more advanced tasks, such as VXLANs on the EX platform, Juniper Mist Wired Assurance may not be the best option due to certain limitations. Nonetheless, it does have a CLI override feature for specialized configurations that cannot be done through the GUI.
I have been using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for approximately two years.
The stability of Juniper Mist Wired Assurance is good, I have not come across a problem.
I've onboarded over a thousand devices in environments and have had no issues.
The solution is scalable.
I haven't dealt with their tech support for this particular solution, but I've dealt with their support before and they're fantastic. They're quick and we receive a resolution.
The initial setup of Juniper Mist Wired Assurance is simple.
Once you place an order for the solution, the solution is immediately provisioned and you will receive confirmation emails. Once you receive the EX equipment, it's as simple as connecting it to the internet and onboarding it to the cloud. The process is straightforward.
I rate Juniper Mist Wired Assurance a nine out of ten.
I have had a great experience with the solution and my customers have as well. I haven't encountered any issues. The usability is excellent. I've trained people to use the solution, and even those without a lot of networking experience were able to quickly pick it up. The solution eliminates the need for a network engineer to be on-site or to configure devices on-premises before pushing them to the edge.

We use the product for campus networking purposes.
The product greatly improved our organization in terms of making configuration, deployment, and firmware upgrades easy for multiple automated devices.
The product’s most valuable feature is GUI access.
The platform’s monitoring tool is not up to the mark. It is not proactive enough and lacks some capabilities. Additionally, they should work on providing integration with other vendors.
We have been using Juniper Mist Wired Assurance for two years.
The product is stable. I rate its stability a seven out of ten because we encounter a lot of outages.
I rate Juniper Mist Wired Assurance’s scalability a nine out of ten.
The technical support services are good.
Positive
The initial setup process is easy.
Juniper Mist Wired Assurance generates a good return on investment. It saves a lot of time for the operations team and reduces the cost of operation as well. It is very well structured.
I rate Juniper Mist Wired Assurance an eight out of ten. It is too simple to use. Depending on the requirements, we can deploy it as a traditional network or campus routing.
