I can have unique, complex passwords which sync between my phone, tablet, and laptop.
Pros and Cons
  • "i have only one password to remember, which is the one to get me into Keeper."

    What is most valuable?

I love the ease with which I can have hundreds of unique, complex passwords which sync between my phone, tablet, and laptop. I have only one password to remember, which is the one to get me into Keeper. Everything else provides top-notch security for my personal and professional work.

How has it helped my organization?

Having the unique passwords has provided an additional level of cyber security for my home, business, and, personal life. It is efficient and private. This is a vast improvement over my old process of writing them down in a little notebook and repeating too many of the passwords!

    What needs improvement?

I don't have recommendations for improvements. It works for me.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

No deployment issues at all. It is intuitive and simple to set up. I spent about three hours one afternoon typing in or recreating my established passwords. I have since added hundreds more.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Keeper doesn't crash and hasn't failed in several years of my using it.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

    No scalability issues at all.

How are customer service and technical support?

    Customer Service:

I have not needed to use customer service. The product just works.

    Technical Support:

I have had no need to contact technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Keeper is the only password security platform I have used and I have no incentive to try another.

    How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was straightforward. It took about three hours to put in the passwords I had. In several cases, I changed them to better passwords. It was a great use of three hours!

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Pricing is perfectly manageable, even when I added the family plan. It is well worth the cost, compared to ID theft or other cyber invasions!

    Pros and Cons
    • "Keeper was user-friendly."

      What is most valuable?

Keeper was user-friendly. It was implemented within the whole "fingerprinting thing" in Apple — you could use Keeper the same way as you use Keychain.

The user interface was also nice. You could have multiple or different zones. You could have your vault, so to speak, for your work-related applications, and you could also have private vaults, as well. If I can recall correctly, you could place notes and other documents in this vault to be saved — I liked that.

      What needs improvement?

I think Keeper is a good product; we also sold it to our customers; however, there were some political issues between account managers over there.

For how long have I used the solution?

I used Keeper for a couple of months. I am not using Keeper now because I work for another company. Due to Corona, I thought it would be best to swap over to a very steady company.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Both the stability and the scalability of Keeper are great.

How are customer service and technical support?

The technical support is good. The people we dealt with were very responsive; however, they were also in the carousel of political issues. They would have liked to do more but they were restrained due to internal politics.

      How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Keeper was easy.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We chose their optional annual subscription; I believe we paid monthly — I thought it was a good deal.

What other advice do I have?

I would definitely recommend using Keeper. On a scale from one to ten, I would give Keeper a rating of eight.
