We were able to uninstall other low level tools so we only take care of one dashboard now. Thanks to the deep insights we are now able to use the captured data to interact with our vendors to remedy problems more efficiently.

Some use cases still require a few clicks too many to get down to the details but that'll be straightened out very soon based on the evolution we are seeing in the product.

We where using home grown scripts, log analysis and Zabbix to monitor our 3d party tools, this proved to be very time consuming and quite hard to get to the actual cause due to the lack of integration.

Ruxit can be used in a service offering approach for small and medium companies where software license and operational costs are an issue.

It was deployed in a small company with a low maturity level of Application Performance Management and low skilled operators. There was no production and acceptance environment monitoring at all, only the monitoring tool belonging to the 4GL development tool. After installation of Ruxit, it provided the insights how their infrastructure components are related to each other, which capacity they consumes, and it explained why mysterious performance and instability problems occurred which where not being noticed by their own sample based technical monitoring tools. It also correlates the behaviour of the middleware tiers to the virtualisation and storage tiers. The result is that because of the elastic VMware behaviour they now better understand what caused the performance dips.

Support of active monitoring protocols other than only http. Ruxit must invest to parse other end user scripting languages (Loadrunner, Jmeter, Gatling, Silkperformer, TaskIt, NeoThys) to become a powerhouse on active monitoring.

It is a pity that active monitoring can only be done from the Internet and not on local premise.

Perfect support from Ruxit. We encountered an issue where it looked like that Ruxit caused performance and instability of the application that was monitored. After thoroughly investigation of the lab on short notice, the problem was caused by the application itself. Ruxit also advised the customer how to fix the issue!

I'm providing services in the APM field where I'm independent of the tools I apply. But a have a strong favour for Ruxit and dynaTrace, because it never fails to bring added value instantly. These are the tools where I every time asks: I needed these tools 15 years ago.

It is like a walk in the park. It is developed by guys who really understands what the monitoring and diagnosing needs are nowadays. It is an innovative product with lots of potential.
