Veritas Enterprise Vault Reviews

We use the solution to archive emails. 

The product is a very complicated solution. It is not easy to upgrade and get alerts of issues. You have to check it all the time to see if there is an internal error. 

I have been working with the product for two years. 

I would rate the product's stability a five out of ten. 

I would rate the solution's scalability a five out of ten. 

The product's setup is easy and got completed in one day. We have two engineers who are engaged in the solution's maintenance. 

I would rate the solution a six out of ten and I wouldn't recommend this product to others. 

We primarily use the solution for email and file archiving. We also use it for the classification of international regulations.

The search feature is the most valuable aspect of the solution.

The solution is pretty scalable.

The stability is good.

The product is quite affordable.

Dealing with personal information, such as documents that contain a personal number, personal ID or something like that should be improved. Sometimes it works poorly in that regard. It depends on the accuracy of the picture, PDF file, or format. Maybe with other OCR tools, the results will be better.

While a lot of this depends on Microsoft, I'd like to see more integration. I'd like more of the product as a feature instead of a second product. In the future, we'd like to have the same structure of folders that we have in Microsoft 365. 

I've been using the solution for around three years.

The stability is excellent. I'd rate it five out of five. There were no bugs or glitches and it didn't crash or freeze. 

I found the solution to be scalable. Expanding it wasn't a problem.

We had about 6,000 people on it in the organization. Our entire company was on it. 

I never personally reached out to technical support and therefore would d not be able to speak on how helpful they would be if you had any issues. 

The initial setup offers a moderate amount of difficulty. It's not overly complex. I'd rate it a four out of five in terms of ease of deployment. The deployment itself takes about two weeks. 

The price for Enterprise Vault is around €100 per user. That is for one license for one year and includes support. I would rate the solution a four out of five in terms of affordability.

I would rate the product nine out of ten. I've been pretty satisfied with its capabilities overall. 

Email archiving is the most valuable because it frees up space in our Exchange servers dramatically. The choice of more than 31,000 customers worldwide, Veritas archiving solutions are used by small to medium-sized businesses (SMB) and the largest enterprises, across key vertical and horizontal industries.

It allows us to keep more of our emails for a longer amount of time because when it archives our old emails, it deletes them and places a small short cut in its place. This also frees up much needed space on our hard drives within our Exchange servers.

I believe it needs better reporting features as well as better way of managing SQL databases and their maintenance.

This initial setup was straightforward.

We currently have in-house technicians that are Symantec Master certified that implemented Enterprise Vault.

We currently have and still have a very high investment gains when compared to our investment cost.

The pricing and licensing of this product is very competitive based on Gartner position of Enterprise Vault.

There was no other solution available at the time.

The expertise of the tech support team at Veritas as well as the Gartner position of Veritas Enterprise Vault and the ease of installation makes implementing and using this product a breeze.

We are using the solution for email and file archiving, and compliance.

The most valuable features are ease of use and performance. However, the performance can depend on the workload being used.

The integration needs to improve.

In my experience, the solution has been scalable.

We have engineers that deal with the technical side of this solution.

There is a license required for this solution and it is typically is paid annually.

I rate Veritas Enterprise Vault a nine out of ten.
