I use VMware SASE in my company as it is a friendly, useful, and easy product for our customers to use.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of the solution is that VMware SASE can integrate with VMware vCenter. One can use VMware SASE on Windows and Linux at the same time.
What needs improvement?
The upgrade feature of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using VMware SASE for seven years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is a stable solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The tool is meant for enterprise-sized businesses.
How are customer service and support?
The solution's technical support is not good enough. The support offered by VMware for end customers is not enough. Support from VMware should be made available to our company with just one email or call since VMware currently has a very complex website.
I rate the technical support an eight out of ten.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Hypervisor software has a direct relation with VMware software because VMware SASE and hypervisors work very successfully and are manageable with minimum updates. The overall software experience was very good.
How was the initial setup?
The product's initial setup phase was not difficult, but a person needs to have a little bit of experience related to VMware software. A person should read the documentation provided by the solution to understand some of the requirements to take care of the product's setup phase.
The told doesn't require any complex configuration.
The solution can be deployed in 30 to 45 minutes.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I had an idea about the pricing of the product when Dell purchased VMware, but presently, I have no idea about the price of the product after Broadcom purchased it.
What other advice do I have?
The GUI of the product has been okay for three years. VMware vCenter improved it for the HTML package for customers, after which the customers used the GUI part easily.
The software depends on a lot of parameters, so it needs to improve in the future. Though its features may be enough for now, they may not be enough for the future, so there is a need for constant improvement.
I rate the product price a seven to eight out of ten.
