Aruba has many features that fit our needs. The most valuable is the fact that it works with multiple devices. You can scale Aruba wireless between multiple endpoints too, and this was the deciding factor for us. The technical support is excellent. You have support 24/7.
Regarding costs, since it has a virtual controller, we found that Aruba wireless is more cost-effective than other solutions. The user interface is easy to understand too. There are, obviously, areas where it could use some improvement. For example, most access point commands are in the command line instead of in the graphic interface. Also, it lacks integration with other vendors’ products.

While Ruckus offers flexibility, Aruba offers a more complete and robust solution. In terms of security, Aruba is superior, offering native role-based authentication. With Aruba, we can add any user or entity we need to the network, regardless of the wireless LAN they use or network space. If you need more than basic security and detailed segmentation by user, device, or port, like us, Aruba is probably the better choice for you.
