I can only speak to UiPath since that is the only RPA solution that I have used. I know that there are specific packages that you can integrate into your project that is specifically made to work with IBM AS 400 mainframe terminals.

We have found that Foxtrot (Now NintexRPA) is a very solid solution for IBM iSeries integration using the IBM ACS 5250 emulator, in addition Datamatics TruBot is an alternative solution.
