I'm using Equalum's data replication software for Oracle because that's the one database it's designed for. While it may sound limiting, when you find out how many solutions it can provide for you if you're an Oracle user, you'll be more than happy to get it. Of course, you don't have to change your whole database software just to get Equalum, that'd be quite inefficient actually. But if you're using Oracle, like my organization, I highly recommend Equalum and its great features. We used to struggle with Logminer, especially after the rollout of 19c, but once we got Equalum, I'm more than happy to say a smooth and fast operation has been achieved.
Hello, unfortunately, Equalum's data replication software isn't compatible with any other database other than Oracle. It's in fact built for it and it's doing a perfect job, as I've used it when I worked with Oracle before. But it's kind of disappointing that it doesnt work with anything else, because it does such a great job. At the moment I work at a company that uses a different type of database platform and I wish Equalum offered data replication for it because I really can see the difference now. It gave me quick and easy data replication that not only assured the data we were working with was secured and updated but was also packed with other features which made it great. If you're using Oracle, I recommend Equalum 100%!
