Is FalconStor the best Virtual Tape Library on the market?

I work for a tech company that specializes in protecting and conserving companies' assets. We respond to diverse needs related to Disaster Recovery.

I have found FalconStor to be very solid but which are its main competitors? Would you recommend another solution over FalconStor?

Is FalconStor VTL an End of Life solution?
