Hello. Yes, it is compatible with AWS but the great thing about it is that it's actually working with so many cloud providers, it may be just for everyone. Besides the Amazon cloud services, NetApp AltaVault works with Google, IBM, Azure, and their own NetApp StorageGRID. Are you using AWS? I personally work at a company that uses Azure so I'm not aware of how AltaVault works with AWS but if I have to base it on my experience with this NetApp product, I suspect it's pretty good. For our company it's been running well ever since we used it for our cloud data, giving us some space after we used the deduplication function, and always helping us backup efficiently.
Yes, it's compatible with Amazon Web Services. I'm speaking from experience here, since my company has been using it exactly with this cloud service and it's not only working together, it does it pretty well. I think my personal favorite thing about those two working in sync is the fact that NetApp AltaVault gives you the option for disaster recovery for AWS. Unfortunately, we've had to use it at work but luckily it turned out to be a very reliable feature and our data was nicely backed up and we managed to recover without losses. Everyone hopes to never learn how good a data recovery is but since I had to learn, I can tell you that this one is a good one.
