The network management is all good, and it is not an issue. The tool has the best features in terms of application visibility. My company never faced any security issues with the product. Whatever security standards are in the industry, terms of security are implemented in the product. My sales team says that it is a less expensive tool compared to other vendors. I rate the tool a ten out of ten.
The solution allows us to work with devices for guest authentication and self-registration. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.

I did an audit with the previous version of Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar because it had been installed two years ago where I did the audit. My advice is that Alcatel-Lucent should push its partners to be well-trained in wireless technology before promoting its solution (this is the case unfortunately for most vendors) Overall, I rate Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar an eight out of ten.
This is the most attractive solution when implemented with ALE LAN solution. That said, as a standalone, it is very useful too - especially in Express mode.
