I think Veeam's marketing is very strong because of the VMware association, which is a great problem. The great problem is Veeam's marketing, but we are not a Veeam partner; we work with Veeam. The integration with multiple operating systems through Arcserve Backup is very good and very efficient. The value it brings for my use cases is that many of my clients have different operating systems, such as Windows solutions and Linux, with no problem. The deduplication and compression with Arcserve Backup does not help. Arcserve UDP is the solution that we work with and use. I am describing the solutions for education, finance, retail, and more. I utilize UDP's global source-side deduplication. It is beneficial, but we cannot talk much about the solution that we use to our clients. The adaptability of UDP in hybrid IT environments is very good. I have used their SLA-driven data protection, and it is also good for data protection. The protection aspect does compare with Veeam or Commvault; I would say their protection is equally good. With a good combination, we use many technologies for in-house, on-premises, and cloud environments. We have the servers to use in the hybrid environment. My review rating for this product is 6 out of 10.
