Make sure to clearly define partner requirements, security policies, and automation needs upfront. Leverage the hybrid deployment options to balance security and scalability, and take advantage of features like centralized monitoring, alerting, and encryption to ensure reliable and compliant file transfers. Involve your operations and security teams early to maximize efficiency and reduce troubleshooting later. I would rate my overall experience with this solution an 8.
The performance and speed of Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer are pretty good, especially if we use the best infrastructure; the speed actually depends on the infrastructure we use. If we use network storage, the file transfer speeds are really bad, but if we use a SAN or local hard disk, it's faster. The learning curve for new users or team members working with Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer is good; it's pretty easy. However, I would say the documentation on Axway is a little on the downside because we could not find the exact commands or specifics to follow, but there is an abstract of things to do. That's why I gave it a nine out of ten. Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer's support for compliance and regulatory requirements, especially in the financial sector, is good, but it could be improved if it had an API to trigger a service that says, 'Okay, call this API to trigger tickets.' The support for automation and scripting within Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer is pretty good, as we can use various advanced sorting features to implement automation. We rely a lot on automation scripting when a file comes in and drops, and we process that file for another process to pick up. My advice to others looking into using Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer is to go for it because it is the industry standard everyone has been using, and it's an easy solution for all of the file transfer needs. I would give Axway AMPLIFY Managed File Transfer an overall rating of nine out of ten.

The tool imports some digital protocols, like Amazon Workspace, GCP, and everything else. From the data security perspective, I believe it is one of the most secure platforms we can use. People need to have some prior experience because it is not very easy and cannot be used by everyone. A month of experience can help someone to do the fundamental stuff over there. For going in-depth, you need to have the experience, like, in order to debug the issues or check the logs and everything. Some experience is definitely required to use the tool. I recommend the tool to others for managed file transfer or business-to-business integration. The tool is quite user-friendly. In our company, we perform around 1,00,000 transfers daily, and I haven't seen it break down much frequently. The tool is quite easy to use, and it takes less space. The solution can be set up in the cloud as well, apart from being an on-premises model tool. The product doesn't take much space to install. It can be handled without having a very in-depth knowledge. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

I’m a customer and an end-user. We are using either the latest version of the solution or one older version. It is a good product, stable, and you can use it on different levels, and on platforms. I’d rate it an eight out of ten as I am pretty happy with its capabilities.
Technically Amplify is the marketing name for a suite of products that make up the MFT category at Axway.
Secure Transport is their MFT tool which is available for both on-premises and cloud deployments. Transfer CFT provides agent-based file transfer which compliments Secure Transport.
There are other products that address other use cases.

I rate Axway Amplify nine out of 10 because it's easy to deploy, use, and create jobs. Job creation is straightforward. It doesn't take long to set up a job, and you can quickly get on with it. You can get started with production within a week after deploying. If you're implementing Amplify, I recommend thorough capacity planning before deploying. If you don't have that many transfers, you are probably fine, but you need to be mindful of growth in transfers. As our systems become increasingly complex, we see more and more transfers happening. If you're starting multiple new projects, the number of transfers will increase by 20 to 30 percent. You have to pay attention to resource utilization and do capacity planning.
