The advice I will give to others looking for a particular security awareness training program is that if you are seeking a program that offers hands-on phishing simulations to help train employees to spot modern social engineering tactics, Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is an excellent choice. It also provides measurable results with actionable reporting to track human risk exposure over time and prove compliance. It is designed specifically to be headache-free for resource-strapped organizations and managed service providers. I have given this review a rating of 9 out of 10.

I am still exploring the platform's automated behavioral targeting features, as I currently prefer a hands-on approach to profiling and targeting specific risks. Right now, my primary focus for our team is on secure AI practices and safe prompt engineering. While I am not sure if Huntress has a pre-built managed program specifically for this yet, what stands out to me is the flexibility to build it myself. Having the ability to easily create and assign custom training programs based on the specific behaviors I believe are most critical to our organization has been life-changing. As the cybersecurity and risk management specialist for my company, I don't necessarily need a vendor's fully managed service to dictate our training tracks. I prefer doing this myself. The fact that Huntress gives me the autonomy to specifically target the exact behaviors relevant to our team—and allows me to do so without charging extra for managed services—makes it a perfect fit for my workflow. My overall rating for this solution is ten out of ten.
I believe Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training effectively targets human risk with just-in-time training for risky behaviors, and I am fairly happy with that. I am not sure if we are using the Managed Learning feature, to be honest. The lightweight LMS does not ring a bell for me. I do not think we are using it. I do not think we have used the Threat Simulator feature. We are only using Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training for the phishing simulations and some of the training modules after that, so I am not too familiar with that feature. Overall, having used Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training for twelve months, I think we have seen less engagement with the phishing emails post-training, which obviously means the information is going into the users. Because the content is fairly engaging, there is definitely a noticeable improvement in terms of our cyber security. Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training does not require any maintenance, as that is handled by the vendor; we do not have to do any updates that I am aware of. I would rate this product an eight overall.
Since starting with Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training, I have seen benefits, including that people are aware of the different kinds of attacks; since it is managed, we do not have much to do, which is good so far. Overall, you just set it up and forget; we do not need to do any changes or anything. It is good that we do not need to monitor anything, and we also have customizations such as sending reports to the department managers or the user's manager, so everything is automated, which is good. The only thing is French; if it were there, perhaps that would have helped us, specifically Quebec companies. I think that the pricing and licensing of Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is a little bit higher compared to other solutions that I have used in the past. However, since it is managed, it is worth paying.
I choose a rating of ten for Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training because as a partner, it is easy to deploy. It stacks up against other security awareness training platforms like KnowBe4 because it uses real data in the field that is live. It is more reactive and it is faster. We are not teaching people about old tricks; it is all about new tricks. It points out in emails and tells users how they can look for the issue in the email, rather than just saying to be wary of emails. It actually gives them real, physical training on that. It also identifies to you and to our customers where the weakest members of staff are so they can take further action about that. The whole process feels quite seamless, so you do not have to worry about configuring it or how it gets up to date. It is not going to fall or drift and become one of those products you put in that eventually becomes unproductive. It kind of stays up to date by itself. My advice to others looking into using Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is that if you are looking for a value-adding tool to go alongside your other Huntress products, this is an obvious choice. I have additional thoughts about Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training. I really appreciate the animation department where they worked with South Park. It made the animation videos a bit more engaging and a bit fun, rather than really corporate and boring.
I rate the solution nine out of ten. I appreciate that the learning pathways and materials are produced by the team at Huntress and not AI-generated. These personalized elements make the training engaging, preventing it from being just a series of boring slides.
