To address the security issue found using REST API, we can tweak it by injecting queries that attempt to access an inbox directly. This showcases a critical issue that may arise when using Single Sign-On, allowing access to multiple applications using a single credential, as was the case with accessing both Confluence and Jira using an Atlassian account. I primarily used CoPilot with ReadyAPI to accelerate groovy script creation, particularly when I needed to create multiple users with unique credentials. By utilizing CoPilot, I generated a script that facilitated the rapid implementation of different usernames and passwords, streamlining our productivity. REST API is a smart tool compared to others I've used. While LoadRunner excels specifically in performance testing, ReadyAPI covers various reporting and validations seamlessly. Changes made in the tool seamlessly update to repositories without lagging or exceptions. On a scale of 1-10, I rate ReadyAPI a 7.

We have mostly tested REST APIs. We haven't tested SOAP-based APIs. I have more than 100 Microservices automated with ReadyAPI. They are integrated into CI/CD and are running on Azure DevOps on a daily basis. We get a comprehensive report on it. It is also faster to integrate and create a pipeline for ReadyAPI. We just have to point Azure DevOps to the XML file we generate when the project runs locally. It's quite fast. I will recommend the tool to others. Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.

It has good source connections, such as a database or an Excel or adjacent file. It can take the source input in various formats, and it can give the output in various formats, like Excel, or it can also write it into a database. It has that integration available with other technologies. I think it is trying to improve itself by having integrations into Bamboo, Jenkins and Jira, but it's bit late in the game there. I think there's still a lot of work to do on the CI. I would rate this solution as a seven out of ten.

I would say they should know exactly what they're looking for because if they're looking for API testing, this is a perfect tool. If they want to automate the process, then go ahead and use ReadyAPI. It is the best tool that I have ever seen for API testing. However, if you're just using it for manual API testing, I would say get the trial version or use Postman. We also use JMeter for performance or load testing, but ReadyAPI gives both API and load testing. If you want to do both, this is a good tool. I would rate this solution as a seven out of ten because we haven't integrated it yet with any deployment tools, so I don't know how difficult that process will be.

It's not stable. The Git API within ReadyAPI is a a GUI front end to make it easier to do version control but it doesn't work well as mentioned. It's not reliable. I would not recommend this product, as there are better products out there. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

I would say go for it. It is a really great tool. It is a game-changer because you can automate faster and quicker. It also doesn't take much time for any person to pick up the tool. It is pretty lightweight. Any person who has a little bit of technical background or 1% JavaScript knowledge can quickly use it and write code in Groovy. I would rate ReadyAPI an eight out of ten.

Our plan includes a need to filter out all the API, middle-tier bugs. This is the initial phase of development. We don't want to find any bugs in either UAT or UAP. That's an objective for us, but right now, we are setting up the team and people are working on it. My advice for anybody who is implementing ReadyAPI is, to begin with establishing a framework of what they want to achieve. Comfort with the framework is more important, before acquiring the license. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

The main advantage is that it could be integrated into different CI/CD tools. That is something that is really valuable and helpful. I would rate it an eight out of ten. In the next release, they should make the ability to extend different functions a bit easier. We extend some functionalities and it's possible to extend the functionalities because you have the ability to add many interesting pieces by yourself to that API but it's not so easy. It would really help if they improved that.
I would recommend this solution to people who need official support. For companies who have experts in open-source technology, they can avoid using ReadyAPI. I think that it would come down to the specific client, or project. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
