What advice do you have for others considering Wiz Code?

I rate Wiz overall as nine on a scale of 1 to 10. I have not done much research on Wiz's AI capabilities, but I believe that Wiz is a well-developed company, so they are taking care of this. I do have a basic understanding of the security certifications and standards they have, so I trust Wiz on the AI aspect. Wiz is mostly dependable and accurate, aside from a couple of cases. I would recommend going for Wiz.

There are a couple of things that could be improved, or at least I think they could be improved, but for now, any use case I've needed, I've been able to do it with Wiz. Greater transparency and consistent context-aware recommendations would further strengthen trust in AI-generated outputs. I can recommend Wiz for organizations looking to improve their cloud security and visibility and prioritize critical risks. Evaluate its integrations, pricing, and compatibilities with your cloud environment before adopting it. Ensure your team has a clear process for investigating and remediating security findings. Multi-cloud risk mapping was very useful because we could see everything with no hidden elements. Everything was visible and transparent. In terms of prioritization, we could identify which specific area of the cloud or container contained vulnerabilities. When critical issues appeared, we could develop metrics to understand where specific problems lay. If a certain area had multiple critical vulnerabilities, we looked deeper into that area to find underlying causes. Significant immediate information was available, as well as information that could be gleaned after conducting root cause analysis. Trends and trend analysis have improved, helping us build a clearer picture of what is happening, where it is happening, and why. Robust static application security testing (SAST) and SCA analysis at the code level proved very useful. Catching vulnerabilities early was a key highlight and takeaway from the proof of concept. The recommendations provided by Wiz were valuable. This functionality is not available with Checkmarx currently. The concept of using the co-pilot and large language models, along with agentic AI, is refreshing and potentially very beneficial for future operations, particularly in troubleshooting and root cause analysis. My overall rating for this review is 9.

All of the ways I use Wiz are amazing, as it can be used anywhere it is suitable, and it is especially great for large organizations. I find myself relying most on multi-cloud support because it is very useful, especially since we do not have a single cloud but rather use different clouds such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform along with Kubernetes. Wiz allows us to coordinate efficiently across these different teams and groups, which is why our organization relies heavily on this feature. Wiz does not allow for tool consolidation in our environment; even though it has features for that, there is not a need to consolidate different tools because it functions very well with existing tools in our organization. We have reduced alert fatigue in our organization due to Wiz's accuracy in managing alerts. I can approximate a reduction of approximately three to four hours in alert handling since Wiz provides alerts with minimal latency between the alerts and real-time notifications. I advise others to choose Wiz because it stands out as an awesome tool that offers various benefits to organizations, and trying Wiz will undoubtedly benefit you. I have given this product a review rating of 9.5 out of 10.

AI security posture management in the cloud is very important because risks are increasing, and to reduce the manual effort of every department, AI agents can be deployed in cloud security posture to directly find AI security as connected within the organization. Wiz has reduced the alert fatigue in our organization, and if you are fully migrated with Wiz, within a week you can see the difference. Before Wiz, we used Falcon as a runtime sensor, and after using Wiz, we are now 100% sure that Wiz's Runtime Sensor is very accurate and helped us to identify active threats more effectively compared to our previous solution. Teams currently using multiple platforms for security assessments, compliance monitoring, cloud native application posture management, and cloud security posture management can directly switch to Wiz without any hassle, and it will be a very valuable decision for their teams. Wiz is very scalable, so there is no problem in that regard. Wiz is a very mature platform that we use daily as an end-to-end cloud management tool. It is great as it reduces your company's security risk and actively monitors your entire cloud infrastructure, so you do not need to worry about any cloud risks affecting your organization. I would rate this product a 9 out of 10.

I have projects scheduled for production with Wiz Code that I will be exploring this month, specifically in two weeks' time. When I explore more on my upcoming project with Wiz Code, I will always provide feedback on whatever I notice. My thoughts on Wiz Code's error detection feature is that it is an add-on that makes life easier. Though I personally did not find it a path-breaking solution, it adds value where you are already getting the ROI of the product. My thoughts on the real-time code tracking in Wiz Code is that it is very important because you cannot expect developers to use a repo on a daily basis, as there can be a release cycle for each application causing some days when the repo is dormant, making shift-left only applicable when you trigger the pipeline. That is where agentless scanning comes into play to ensure you have a continuous state of your repository, especially for picking up zero-day vulnerabilities which can pop up within 15 to 20 days. If you ask me for advice regarding Wiz Code, I would definitely recommend it. Google already bought Wiz Code in a 32 billion dollar deal, improving it significantly, but it still depends on how customers choose to use it. If you want a single view of your entire code-to-cloud, then Wiz Code is the product, but for more mature needs in CSPM, CWPP, ASPM, or DSPM, you may need a POC to determine the best fit for your environment. Approximately, we had a team strength of about 2,000 to 2,500 developers using Wiz Code. Wiz Code does not require any maintenance unless it is an on-prem solution where you are managing the underlying machine within your environment. I would rate this review overall a 9.5.

I do use Wiz Code's real-time code tracking. From my perspective, I think it's positive, but for folks who need to remediate and have old habits when it comes to software development, it might be a big concern. Ultimately, it helps everyone because you have that visibility and you can take action within a sprint because of that visibility. If you can act right away, you can capture that as part of your sprint planning and remediate promptly. It's a good feature. However, I speak from a security perspective. For a product team, it could be a lot to handle. With creating the right habits over time, it becomes an advantage for everyone. I have never had to think about Wiz Code's error detection feature for improving code quality. I do not use the analytics tools within Wiz Code. I may know this tool by a different term, but I need clarification on what the analytics tool encompasses. I have no idea of the pricing for Wiz Code. I have no knowledge of current pricing. To rate Wiz Code, I need to think of some baseline, but I don't really have any baseline. When I consider the support they offer, which is fantastic, and how reliable the tool is, I could give them a rating of eight.

My advice for others looking into using Wiz Code is that it is a great product if you are looking for a CNAPP solution that includes CSPM and AppSec along with CWP, providing a unified platform to see your whole code to deployment. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.
