I'm interesting in a solution which captures both the critical data elements about the entities and the different roles and relationships they may have with my company. For example, the same entity could be a customer and a vendor.
Hello. There are plenty of solutions on the market which will fit your needs. Most of the MDM vendors focus on the party/business partner's data domain which includes customers, partners, suppliers, etc. The second most common data domain is Product Information Management.
There are a few cloud solutions that I worked with, for example, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud with Multidomain MDM edition and specialized accelerator.
You can also check Reltio or EnterWorks MDM or simply check the MDM Magic Quadrant published by Gartner for further insights.
