What do you like most about Quest NetVault?

NetVault is a great cloud-ready enterprise backup software for hybrid data centers. Here are some of the things I really like about the solution:

• It is easy to use right out of the box and scales easily to accommodate exponential data growth.

• You can protect a massive number of servers containing petabytes of data from one web-based console.

• It supports multiple operating systems, applications, databases, and storage devices.

• It’s easy to tailor to match your specific IT infrastructure.

• The solution has a ‘Plus’ version that will strengthen your defenses against ransomware and other cyberattacks with features like immutable backup storage, an immutable backup recycle bin, data encryption, etc.

• It can be cumbersome and time-consuming to manage corporate data backup in complex IT environments. In addition, it’s not uncommon for data backup solutions to be complicated to install, often requiring help from the vendor’s professional services staff, adding to your cost. Also, learning to manage and maintain these solutions can take a toll, especially in virtualized environments with multiple operating systems and applications. Quest NetVault simplifies enterprise data protection with powerful and easy-to-use features.

It has File and SQL backup, which is the main benefit for us.

The interface is very user-friendly.

Having the web-based interface is important to us because we can access it from any computer in the network, rather than having it installed and available for use only on a specific one.

Its dashboard is quite well done. When you log into the GUI, you can basically see everything you need to know. There is also the possibility to edit the view as you like, which is great.
