The integrated application protection provided by Alteon is very good. It really helps to avoid false positives in some cases. It provides important granularity to avoid a situation in which security or cybersecurity scenarios escape us.

The most valuable feature of the solution is its stability. During the time that I have been using it, it has not undergone a service failure... And with the integrated application protection, we have not suffered from attacks anymore.

The best features are the
security through the web application firewall, the functionality that the solution offers, being a load balancer with the security functionality on top of it, and the
ease of administration.

With Alteon, the load-balancing options are practically unlimited. We haven't had any issues with offloading, decryption, putting in cookies, or any other load-balancing features. We can check URLs, etc., on the back end for load balancing instead of running a TCP check. We're also doing some certificate stuff on there. Alteon covers all of the standard load-balancing techniques, and we employ most of them daily.
The most valuable aspect is the ability to customize the types of load-balancing scenarios needed for customized applications. Some of the load balancers on the market today are strictly out-of-hand load balancers for SSL or HTTP. Radware Alteon is most useful for customizing in-house applications based on ports and protocols.
Alteon is Radware’s application delivery and security platform for delivering and protecting applications across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments. Available as hardware, virtual appliances cloud deployment, Alteon provides local, global server and link load balancing, advanced traffic management, SSL/TLS offload and acceleration, automation, and application optimization, including HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support.
Through Alteon Protect, organizations can combine Alteon application...
