Since there has been an increase of employees working at home, Fortinet FortiClient has given us a lot more control over the users and what they are browsing. We are able to restrict their activity to our Fortinet cloud only. With these controls in place - which includes control over which websites users can browse, what data can be transferred, which servers devices are allowed to connect with - our company remains secure. Fortinet FortiClient is helping us maintain the security of all our devices when they are not in the office.
We are able to enforce users to work with FortiClient only. If FortiClient is off, they cannot connect to the internet. This helps make things a lot easier for our IT and security teams.
I would say that this solution has very good scalability. Originally when we first set it up, we had a few dozen users connected with the VPN. But now we have hundreds of users that are able to connect using Fortinet FortiClient and they can securely access the network from outside our physical location. The performance has not suffered at all.
It is very simple to set up Fortinet FortiClient. With just a few clicks it was installed. In addition, FortiClient is a very stable and reliable product. Its performance is good. There are no bugs or glitches and I don’t remember it ever crashing or freezing.
Their technical support is good as well. I would say that they are knowledgeable and responsive. If we need assistance, we simply create a ticket. It's not hard to get a hold of them. We are quite satisfied with the level of support the solution offers.
