Informatica had better transformation features and more plugins, such as REST to data transfer, with more integration aspects available. However, Informatica is an integration ETL product, and we didn't need those additional features. AWS Database Migration Service provided sufficient functionality for our database migration needs. The cost is affordable for a six-month to one-year run period when mostly using the service.
