This service has definitely decreased the time needed for detecting, investigating, or responding to threats. As for how much it has decreased, I would say dramatically. It's hard to put a specific timeframe, such as an hour or two, but I would say dramatically because we're getting alerted within an hour, and a lot of times something has already been done regarding that alert, which is great. The initial triage they're doing is significant. Sometimes they even block or isolate a host or do something to prevent a certain threat, which is great, and I think before, it would take about two hours, but it really depends on the alert, its severity, and the particular situation.
My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing of CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR indicates that they're similar to the solutions we evaluated; I think the onboarding was quite good with CrowdStrike, and compared to my experience with other products in the past, overall, they're similar—sometimes it depends on who your project manager is during these implementations, but with CrowdStrike, I think overall we had a very good experience with the team.

CrowdStrike has a reasonable price. It's a good price, but if CrowdStrike offered coupons or discounts on a monthly or quarterly basis, it would be more beneficial for smaller vendors trying to implement security. Cutting down some prices would be better so that everyone can use it.

If you are looking from an IT standpoint, you get what you pay for. There is proactive monitoring in addition to the insurance policy. They do that better than others. Would you like it cheaper? Yes, but at what cost?
It is expensive, but looking at the capabilities that it brings, it is reasonable. There are no additional costs to the licensing costs. If you increase the number of licenses, support is included.

The pricing is a little bit higher than other OEM competitors in the market, like SentinelOne and Trend Micro. In the Indian market, it is 10 percent higher.

I would rate pricing a five out of ten, where one indicates the low price and ten indicates the high price. Indian customers are price sensitive, and this solution is a little costlier compared to other solutions. However, customers are still willing to pay for it, but they always compare the price with other solutions since India is a price-sensitive market. It is a little costlier than other solutions. There are no additional costs except for support costs, which are minimal and not an issue.

I cannot recall the exact pricing of the solution. The pricing is fair for what it is. They do provide good service, and the threat intelligence engine is really awesome. I would rate them 4.5 out of five in terms of affordability.

I am not sure what the licensing fees are. I believe it is paid once a year, but I am not sure. However, it is dependent on the number of users present and the number of licenses purchased. The licenses are sold per user. I believe that all of these, for example, Trend Micro, Trellix, or any other company that is based on this NGAV technology, are usually based on how many users are in that environment, and how many devices they intend to install the technology on.

We have a subscription. The cost, the overall cost of the service, is something that could be improved. If you compare it to other antivirus systems, it'll seem more expensive as there's one piece that people overlook - you have a technical team monitoring for you behind the scenes. The cost is approximately $35,000 to $40,000 a year. It covers up to 300 devices and 300 Windows or Mac OS devices, and about 150 mobile devices. There are no additional costs beyond the main fee. It's all paid on an annual lease.
The initial setup is pretty easy. You are given an implementation specialist. Deployment usually takes a couple of weeks for a bigger organization. For a smaller organization, it could take a couple of days. For just the straight endpoint protection product, you are probably looking at eight dollars a month per user. If you're doing the Falcon Complete with monitoring and the SOC, you're probably looking at eighteen or nineteen dollars a month per user.
The licenses for both Carbon Black and Crowdstrike are expensive, but it depends on how the vendors scale the price and negotiate with the customer. So if you have a customer with 7,000 users, the vendor will offer them a low price per user to get them on board. If you have a few hundred users, the price will be a little bit more. There's a huge price difference at various scales. I was surprised that the license for a hundred users went as high as $120 per user, whereas the same product might cost $30 for 6,000 users.
We always get pressured to reduce the cost, however, considering the importance of security, it's worth paying the current rate. Overall it's a good investment when it comes to security practices.

CrowdStrike is more expensive than SentinelOne. Licensing works on the number of agents and the modules you buy. CrowdStrike has different modules, such as Falcon, Falcon Overwatch, Falcon Complete, etc. The pricing depends upon the module that the customer wants. They have different Incident Response (IR) teams, which are very expensive.
At approximately €60 per machine, per year, I think that it's a good price point. When you compare this to Windows Defender for Endpoints, the price of that solution is about €50 Euro per month per user. There are people who spend a lot of time trying to find the right price to sell new products at, so I always think that people know the value of their product and what price they can sell it at.

Our company is very mindful when it comes to purchasing - whether it's software or equipment. I believe the folks that made the decision to purchase this product did so based on price and performance. I wouldn't say there is an issue with pricing. We are redoing our license with them. If that was an issue, I'm pretty sure I would have been asked to look at other products. Therefore, although I don't know the exact pricing, my assumption is that the cost is rather reasonable.
