The pricing for cloud services, including Google, remains challenging in the Philippines, especially for SMEs. These businesses often find cloud solutions more expensive compared to on-premises options.
The pricing is fair as I am mostly within the free tier due to my limited use in serving about a hundred users in my department. Occasionally, I incur minimal charges, such as one or four dollars, but these instances are rare.
The product is not expensive. If you are in India, the tool charges around six to eight USD if I consider the discounts offered by the product. The product includes 30 GB along with some other features. You also get to use Google Sheets and its other features that can help with PPTs. Instead of paying for Microsoft Windows and for your laptop, you can pay a single price on a monthly basis if you select Google Cloud Storage.
Approximately 800 to 1,000 USD is paid towards the licensing costs of the solution. The solution is neither expensive nor cheap, meaning it is moderately priced. There are no extra costs apart from the licensing costs of the solution.

I am just using the free storage that comes with Gmail. I have 15 gigabytes. Currently, I'm using 10 gigabytes out of 15 gigabytes. When it's too much, I try to make some backups. So, for example, I'm copying most of my pictures taken with my mobile phone to OneDrive. I'm not very comfortable with the user interface because I'm not using it well. The price is the same as Dropbox. It's €10 per month.

Regarding the cost of the solution, Google offers its users a pay-as-you-go model pricing. The cost of the solution is handled by the department handling billing and procurement in the company. So, they used to come to us if they received any extra bills. Then, they used to ask us the reason for extra usage of the services since they always used to compare the solution's current usage with its usage in the past few months.
We do have to pay for additional storage, however, we don't mind paying. They do offer limited free storage up until 15GB, however, we are over that. There's a set payment per month.

The free subscription with Google Cloud Storage provides a lower amount of GB storage, if you want to upgrade to more you have to pay an annual subscription.
If you're ready to pay, they're ready to give you as much storage as you want. Considering the features that Google Cloud Storage provides, the pricing is reasonable. So far, I'm still using the free service from them because I'm able to meet my requirements with the free subscription. Maybe, in the future, if a storage requirement comes, I'll pay for it or go for the license.

Since Google has recently targeted Vietnam, they've been offering many customers in the country lots of great promotions and incentives. It's about nearly $10,000 USD to use the services on GCP, however, Google gave us a good deal which is why we originally went with them. We do pay a monthly fee to Google. We use a lot of their services.
The price is fair. Even when you compare it to the competition, I'd say the value we get for every dollar we spend is very good. They have different costs and options for scalability and functionality. We started off with the free edition and then we went for the corporate edition and the business edition, and we've since increased. They have lots of options for various types of users.

When making the decision the customer is not driven by the price. They are interested in using a well-known and reliable service provider. Our customers don't know the technology, so, we do that for them. They know that the pricing is comparable with Azure, AWS, and those other solutions like Amazon are cheaper, but they are not as flexible.
