Previously, BW (Business Warehouse) on HANA was priced together with the ERP, not separately. I think the latest version, BW/4HANA, is priced separately. So it used to be one package, but now it's priced separately. ERP is priced more than others, or at least on par with the top ones.
Pricing is always a consideration with SAP. You need to navigate the contracts and agreements carefully. But, with the right terms in place, it can be a cost-effective solution.
There is a need to make payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. Whether the price of the product will be expensive or not is something that depends on the buyers' negotiation skills with SAP. SAP sells products at different rates. For some, the rates offered by SAP can be costly while for others it may seem cheap. The price ultimately depends on how you have negotiated your contract with SAP. Speaking about whether there are any extra costs attached to the product apart from the standard licensing fees, I am not very sure about where the customer service from SAP fits into the licensing model.
For the on-premises version of the product, the solution offers a perpetual-based licensing model to its users. In general, SAP offers a monthly subscription-based licensing model to its users. The product's customers state that the solution is expensive. SAP is always open to negotiations with its customers.

The SAP HANA application still hasn't been leveraged to the fullest extent, but it's a multi-year enterprise license. They moved from on-premise to a IAAS solution that is hosted on Azure. They must have worked out some other licensing during this migration, but I'm not familiar with that.
I can't comment on the cost because it keeps changing based on the plan and company requirements. There are different procedures and corporate discounts.
