From what I have heard only from our sales team, ServiceNow Now Platform falls within the more expensive tier of a product, but I can't really judge it.
Pricing for ServiceNow depends on the model. Some models, like GRC and HRSD, are user-specific and can be quite expensive. Others are less costly but are based on the number of tickets or users.
The license model is not flexible for small clients. It is generally more suitable for large enterprises and, to some extent, for mid-sized organizations. However, it may be less affordable for smaller or tier-three companies.
I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, with ten being very expensive solution. There are other solutions in the market that might be better suited for simpler use cases.
I don't have much exposure to the costs attached to the solution. I rate the product's price a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is the lowest price, and ten is the highest price since it is a costly tool.

ServiceNow charges for the features available in the tool, even if customers don't use all of them. OEMs are charging for all the features, that's why no customer uses 100% of the features.
Licensing costs range between 49 and 59 GBP per user per month for a resolver license. It's possible to get a cheaper deal based on the relationship you have with the resellers. It's quite expensive when compared with tools such as Remedy, Jira, or ManageEngine. A resolver license requires the purchase of additional extras. There's also a SNOW-based discovery license, SNOW-based SAM license, that requires a separate approval license. It's complicated.

From what I heard, the license for the ServiceNow Now Platform is paid monthly, and on a scale of one to five, I'm rating it a three in terms of pricing, so it's on the cheaper side. I don't know of any additional costs associated with the ServiceNow Now Platform, apart from the standard licensing fees.
ServiceNow is not open source, so there is a license you must pay. As for how much it costs, what I have observed is that it often depends on your subscriptions. Suppose that you go with some subscriptions such as IDSM or any type of package like it, then the license cost will be impacted accordingly. Similarly, the cost is also adjusted based on your headcount of how many users will be using it. Compared to other contenders who give you the cheapest in the market, you will find a huge difference when it comes to ServiceNow and its subscriptions. However, I would definitely say it is worth the money.
Most of the features are included in the licensing cost. However, if we need extra plugins that are not available at the ServiceNow Hub or store, then we have to pay extra for those.

The licensing price for ServiceNow is somewhat high. The pricing depends on the number of users. For a similar type of application, the price of licensing for ServiceNow is on the high side. Actually it is 20% to 30% more than the nearest competitor. There are technically not any additional costs besides the licensing fees from a customer point of view for the product. But, if they want to implement an application in ServiceNow, they may also have to pay for a developer's team to implement the solution. Once development is complete, they probably have to spend some amount for supporting and maintaining the application and customization, so that will also be included as an additional cost for the company using the solution even if it is not a direct cost for the product.
