My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that licensing is fairly simple. I work with account managers at SonicWall, submit quotes with my distribution group, and the process is seamless.
I am somewhat satisfied with the price for SonicWall NSv, rating it as eight because, compared to other products, the price is a little bit higher. The pricing could be improved, and there are extra expenses. For instance, the Global VPN will be chargeable in our product, unlike Fortinet or Sophos, where it is free—this is a major difference.
The tool is moderately priced. We need to purchase an additional license for NSM. We can manage all the firewalls through NSM. Otherwise, we would have to connect each location manually to manage the devices. With NSM, we can connect and manage all the firewalls globally. We can push the policies across all the firewalls in one go.

The solution's price is around INR 50,000-60,000. SonicWall NSV is not very costly. I rate SonicWall NSV a five out of ten for pricing.
We are currently using the trial version. The price is reasonable.
Our initial purchase, which included a three-year term of support, was about $25,000 USD. After that, it was another $12,000 to $15,000.
