I rate the product's price a six on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive. My company makes yearly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution. There are no additional payments besides the licensing costs attached to the solution.
Because we have a dealer suite, the price is reasonable. Under the dealer suite, you are not required to purchase those items. The CPU licensing mechanism is quite good. vRealize Log Insight is a component of the VMware suite bundle. We are not paying extra to include it. I am not sure what the exact cost is. However, I believe the vRealize suite costs $2,500.00 per year. There are numerous components, such as vRealize Log Insight and vRealize Operation Manager. It all depends on your point of view. If you have a VMware environment, you are unaware of the components required to run your environment effectively. I am referring to monitoring, scaling up, and event analysis. It is entirely up to you. You are not required to deploy these solutions in some environments. However, if you have multiple sites, you will have different components.
LogInsight's licensing model is a bit complex. Runecast's licensing is more straightforward. On the other hand, licenses for just about anything is expensive, but ultimately it comes down to a return on investment. LogInsight's price is worth it in the long run. A proactive approach in the world saves you a lot of money by preventing catastrophes. Still, the license cost is a pain point for the customers. From a sales perspective, our challenge is to persuade the customer to see it as a long-term investment.

Log Insight does not cost much when compared to Splunk. The license cost for Splunk or any other monitoring tool is too high. Compared to Insight that way — just looking at the license — the vRealize solution is kind of a cheap and better than other products cost-wise.

The setup costs can sometimes be a bit expensive but I think for the technology they are offering it's top of the mark. There are no additional costs aside from the standard licensing fees. There's really no competition for what they're offering. They have the production, the market, the scales you require to work on VMware, the price they are asking is justified.
The pricing of the solution is okay, however we use a nulled version. We have issues because of the sanctions on our country. For important projects, we get licensing through Dubai. Right now we are using a nulled version of the solution.
