My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that I think the price is acceptable for companies that do not have a lot of resources to spend on cybersecurity, as WatchGuard Firebox can give you a lot of protection on one single license.
Regarding pricing, setup cost, and licensing for WatchGuard Firebox, it is very affordable, mainly focusing on small and mid-cap organizations. The affordability makes it a great option for small and mid-cap clients, and some added advantages can be acquired after taking a subscription for additional features.

My experience with the pricing, implementation cost, and licenses of WatchGuard Firebox has been quite happy because it is cheaper compared to other competitors.
I find WatchGuard Firebox to be cost-effective. The product you get for the price you pay seems about right to me and to our company. I would rate the pricing of WatchGuard Firebox a six.
WatchGuard Firebox was a cheaper solution in terms of price, approximately 25% cheaper than Palo Alto based on a rough order of magnitude from four years ago. FortiGate, the solutions we are looking at now, is more or less the same as WatchGuard Firebox.
I am satisfied with the licensing cost and pricing of WatchGuard Threat Detection and Response because we came from Palo Alto, which is a very expensive firewall. When we tried to renew the Palo Alto license, the cost was beyond any reasonable range. WatchGuard Threat Detection and Response seemed very powerful and appeared to be a good solution, as recommended by our partner. At that time, we had several options, including Fortinet.

I have faced challenges with the WatchGuard Firebox regarding price since we work with customers who use the Stormshield product, which is less expensive and French-made, while some products from the USA have left a bad impression, and some customers ask us to find another French or European product.

I've never licensed it as a separate solution. It's always included in the licensing that would be appropriate for a medical facility, so I've never purchased DLP as an add-on to their basic licensing. I wouldn't say that I can give you a straight answer. It's never even come up in conversation to license it as a standalone solution.

It is kind of expensive. I buy it on the appliance. I always buy three-year total security.
