We work with Codebeamer, and we exclusively use Codebeamer in our processes. Within R&D, Codebeamer works quite well for improving team collaboration, but for non-R&D functions, we have to do some work to persuade them to use Codebeamer as well.
My feedback on Codebeamer is that we are using it to store codes that are working on a functional level. Most of our employees are working in Codebeamer for the Kanban board, and we are organizing our organizational structure. For example, we have established a hierarchy from manager to manager within Codebeamer. These are the things we are doing with Codebeamer. It is working fine despite being older, and our organization prefers Codebeamer, although other people are also working with GitLab alongside it. We are currently working with Codebeamer version 2.2. Just a few days before, we completed an update in Codebeamer, and our organization keeps updating things. Other benefits observed from using Codebeamer include its excellent release management and access management features. For example, we have employees and some admins, and the admin can give access to others similarly to AWS. Certain features can only be performed by admins, which allows for flexible assignment. For instance, we can assign access to a developer group, enabling the entire development team to engage in tasks such as adding and pushing code.

We were looking to gather information on Codebeamer ( /products/codebeamer-reviews ) to build our ALM ( /categories/application-lifecycle-management-alm-suites ) practice. However, the plan was put on hold as we are now focusing on expanding our PLM practice, working with our OEM on different product lines. As a system integrator, we have extensive experience working with these solutions and competing tools.

It is promoted to various customers and is particularly useful for automobile and health manufacturing companies requiring quick plugin solutions to improve business processes. In my experience, CodeBeamer has been essential for digitizing and managing complex development processes. Its strong requirements management tools have greatly improved our workflow.
I worked in the ALM and PLM industry, and for my various clients, I have evaluated, I have deployed, and I have come up with a strategy for lifecycle management solutions. Now I want to share the same with people around the world so that they can benefit from my knowledge. Regarding codeBeamer ALM, I have the SaaS version, I have deployed it on the cloud and I have used the on-premise version as well for my various clients. Our clients' primary use case was for automotive embedded systems, wherein they required ISO 26262 certification. They also use it as a stronger tool to manage the whole of their portfolio. We are planning to go all out with codeBeamer. One of our clients has agreed. They have decided strategically that codeBeamer will replace their other tools. They will be retiring IBM Doors, XG, PTC Integrity, and Jama.
We are a solution provider and as a consultant, I have evaluated codeBeamer ALM for some of our clients. One of our clients is using this solution to work on medical products, and we have other clients such as telecoms who provide services.
