Infor ION is a middleware solution I use to create workflows, integrate applications, and build custom dashboards. I deploy ION for all customers that use Infor because they need to integrate internal business applications like an Oracle content management system or their financial software.
If an industry-specific, third-party planning tool needs to be integrated with Infor M3, ION is the dashboard through which we can monitor errors, logs of the integrations, and all inbound and outbound transactions.
