I am not looking for a monitoring solution, but I am a product manager comparing some products based on research I conducted on the PeerSpot website regarding monitoring products such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and LogicMonitor. I search as a researcher and product manager comparing platforms regarding monitoring products that I researched on your website to understand which platform is good and which platform has the pros and cons. We are using monitoring platforms such as OpenText, ManageEngine, and we also have some ITSM product. OpsBridge in OpenText is what we use, and in ManageEngine, I use Network Operation Manager and Service Desk. I have been working with the OpenText product for almost two years.

We use OpenText Operations Bridge ( /products/opentext-operations-bridge-reviews ) more from an event correlation perspective. We do not use it for pure monitoring since we have other monitoring tools. We use it to pull in all of the data from the different monitoring tools and correlate the data in OpenText Operations Bridge ( /products/opentext-operations-bridge-reviews ). It is integrated into SMAX so that, even if multiple systems are alerting for the same server event, it logs a single ticket into SMAX. We automate the process so that when the monitoring systems send a secondary event to indicate resolution, such as 'I am no longer alerting', it sends an auto-closure event to SMAX, eliminating human interaction in ticket management.

We are using NNMI, UCMDB, SMACS, and OBM. Operations Bridge is being used between Sfax and OBM to forward all the events to Smacks for ticket creation and SLA management. NNMI is used from an operations perspective to move forward with events.
I used this solution as an umbrella for many different types of monitoring systems. It provided various tools for application performance management models and also for user experience models, monitoring business processes, and many other activities.

This solution is used for centralized infrastructure and application monitoring. It will take monitoring data from other tools and contribute to the central repository. Sometimes it is integrated with the service desk to create incidents when something goes wrong. I have used versions of this product for Windows and Linux, and they are slightly different.
We primarily used it for monitoring. We used the desk portal that you have for IT support. We also installed the OBi and the BBD to do a lot of the analytics and to prevent difficulties within the BBD dashboard.
