OpenText AI Operations Management could benefit from a fully integrated AI system, which we call AIOps. A fully integrated AI operations system would be valuable in the future. Additionally, the UI experience could be more comfortable. We are not using predictive features in OpenText AI Operations Management such as anomaly detection. In the future, we may be able to operate with our customer, but we need to decide this collectively. You need to see the big picture and understand what the customer's pain points are to find the right tuning. Normally, predictive features can be more useful, but this is an end-to-end solution that needs to be customized. You need to understand the exact customer needs. The predictive analytics feature is very close to being integrated, but it is not fully integrated at this time.

The only aspect I find lacking in OpenText Operations Bridge is more aesthetic. The dashboards from OpenText Operations Bridge, when compared to those from Splunk, are less visually appealing. Splunk is more business-friendly due to its prettier interface. In contrast, OpenText Operations Bridge reports resemble what you might create on an Excel file. Technologically, there is nothing lacking, but visually, enhancements could be made.

We need improvements in delivering quality reports from OBM and in integrating Operations Bridge with other components like UCMDB for asset discovery. Operations Bridge also lacks in the preparation of custom reports and application observability compared to other solutions like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
The product might currently have a lot of new features, however, I don't have information about these new features, so it's possible it may require updates in that area.
What needs improvement in Micro Focus Operations Bridge is its resource heaviness because you need many resources to deploy and support it. It's a good solution for larger organizations, but for small businesses, not so much.

The UI could be better. The ease of use, deployment, upgrades, and licensing could be better. The license, not only the model, rather, the way you manage your users and things like that need to be worked on. The initial setup is a little bit complex. Technical support could be better. The solution can be more stable. It's not easy to scale. The solution needs network monitoring, and support for more cloud providers. Anomaly collection could be better. They need better reporting.
The setup process can get a little bit complex. There is new development happening, however, it's important that certain legacy applications should be supported in the future.

The advancement of this solution seems to have stalled. These types of products have a long history and it may be best to create a brand new application, from scratch. It is difficult to suggest significant improvements. The initial setup of this tool is complex for people who lack experience with it. It would be great to improve the automatic discovery of application topology.
It depends on the contract a user holds with the company, but technical support could be improved. We work with a vendor of Micro Focus. If you need support for the OBi or BBD, you might be able to use R&D. If we need something we call R&D and get level one support. The stability of the solution has become problematic and should be improved. The pricing is a bit expensive for smaller companies.

The service takes a very long time to start and it requires a lot of resources. A huge amount of memory is required. The setup process should be simplified and faster to complete.
