In my current organization, we are using MoEngage to engage with our customers, improve our funnel metrics, and onboard new users from our unpaid to paid category of business. MoEngage is currently live on our MathUp app, which is a math gaming app for kids. There are users who come into our funnel from different sources, and we use MoEngage to increase the DAU and MAU and ultimately reach out to them through in-app popups and push notifications to pitch them our math and English program, which is a paid program. This is how we use MoEngage; it is one of the revenue-generating channels for us. There are a couple more ways that we use MoEngage. For example, we recently came across a lower rating on our application, and we are using MoEngage to run a campaign on the active user base who are on the application to take them to the Play Store and App Store to get their reviews. Since we do not have the bandwidth of our current product managers to enable a feature on the app, we are using MoEngage push notifications as well as in-app popups as a way to redirect the user to the Play Store and App Store for the ratings.

I used MoEngage from October to December 2025. My primary use case for MoEngage has been customer engagement and lifecycle communication. I used it to create and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push notification, and in-app messages. I worked on defining the target audience, user segmentation, campaign objectives, messaging, and success metrics while partnering with marketing and CRM teams for execution. I also analyzed campaign performance through metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, conversions, and engagement to optimize future campaigns. One example was a feature adoption campaign. I noticed that many users were signing up but were not exploring some of our newer HR features after onboarding. I used MoEngage to segment users based on their product behavior, such as users who had completed onboarding but had not used a specific feature within a set timeframe. I designed a multi-channel journey using email and in-app messages to educate users about the feature, highlighting its benefits and providing a direct call-to-action to try it. I worked on defining the target audience, user journey, campaign objectives, and the success metrics. While partnering with the marketing team, I was able to make it a better use case. I tracked metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, and feature adoption conversion. After iterating on the messaging and timing, I saw approximately a 15% improvement in engagement and higher adoption of the targeted feature. Another memorable campaign I worked on at Housing.com focused on improving user engagement for the Housing community feature. I wanted to encourage users who had registered but were not actively participating in discussions. I segmented users based on their behavior, such as users who had signed up but had not posted or interacted with the community within the first week. Using MoEngage, I created an engagement journey with push notification and email highlighting relevant discussions, trending topics, and prompts to ask the first question. As a product manager, I worked on defining the user journey, segmentation criteria, campaign objective, and success metrics. I monitored metrics such as click-through rate, returning users, and community engagement. The campaign helped increase user participation and improve overall engagement within the community feature. I collaborated closely with the CRM or marketing team, and my responsibility was defining the product use case, user segment journey, and key performance indicators. Beyond campaign execution, I primarily viewed MoEngage as a product insight and customer engagement platform. I used it to understand user behavior, identify drop-offs in key journeys, and validate whether product changes were improving engagement. I collaborated closely with the marketing, design, and engineering teams to ensure the right events were tracked and users were segmented correctly. While I was not a dedicated CRM manager, I was hands-on in defining user journey, segmentation logic, campaign objective, and success metrics. I also analyzed campaign performance and used those insights to iterate on both the product experience and customer communication.

My main use case for MoEngage is for sending communications to our target users. I have primarily executed three kinds of CRM campaigns on MoEngage for sending communications to our target users. One is emails, then I have done push notifications, and I have also integrated WhatsApp. We have done different campaigns for various scenarios. For example, with a fintech brand, when a user signs up and has not completed verification, we send a specific flow of communications or a specific sequence of messages. It could be one-time, it could be automated, or a combination of all. MoEngage has been very useful, and I have had the opportunity to try out many features.

My main use case for MoEngage involves targeting customers, specifically in the B2C sector of the hospitality industry, where I primarily use it to target customers and retain them through transaction-based communications. For example, every month we run a payday sale or a mid-month sale targeting specific segments, such as RFM segments directly from MoEngage, and I utilize channels including email, WhatsApp, RCS, and push notifications to send the communication.
My main use case for MoEngage is that I use it for most of the CRM-related activities and outreach purposes. I used MoEngage for a mobile push notification campaign in 2024 when I was interning at a company. We primarily ran mobile push notification campaigns on MoEngage, and my responsibility was to extract the data from MoEngage and analyze it for better engagement and to discover insights from the data.
My main use case for MoEngage is to track front-end events and the business team prepares data. A specific example of how my team uses MoEngage to track front-end events is that they run campaigns on our DeHaat Farmer app and track those events. Based on that data, they track and conduct business.

My main use case is nudging customers and bringing them to the top of the funnel to improve lifecycle marketing and customer retention. I use it to segment the user base on behavior and engagement, build automated customer journeys, and deliver personalized communications across emails, push notifications, WhatsApp, and in-app channels. In our use case, we can discuss the option of bill payments. Bill payments is one of our products for which we are taking care. We send different types of push notifications and nudges regarding that, including sticky push notifications, emails, and in-app notifications. We have also been working with WhatsApp and RCS channels to improve efficiency and reduce drop-offs to get better results and conversion. My main use case would be from onboarding and activating users, as well as moving them through to retention and re-engagement. I use it to build automated journeys and create behavioral segments. For example, if a member has dropped off while about to pay a bill, I nudge them within a certain timeframe, perhaps within ten to fifteen minutes, saying something like, "Oh, you have missed the payment. Are you facing any issues? If not, then please continue with our payments." This has improved customer behavior and has been working for us, improving click-through rates as well as conversions by thirty-five percent.
My main use case for MoEngage is primarily for WhatsApp marketing, where we send the content of any offers or store openings through MoEngage to our large customers. In addition to the main use case, we use MoEngage for SMS, WhatsApp, and sometimes web notifications. A quick specific example of a campaign or message I have sent using MoEngage is mainly offers, although I cannot say exactly the content; it is more focused on offers.

My main use case for MoEngage is for cart drop-off campaigns, to understand user personas, to understand user paths, communication to users regarding offers, as well as taking and understanding user journeys. For example, when a user comes to my website and does not make a purchase, I can determine the user's intent by seeing which parts of the pages they have visited. I have access to page drop-off and page viewed data. I create customized campaigns for users based on the products they have browsed, taking into account when they browsed, the timing, and the intent of the user. I send messages based on the steps where they dropped off.
MoEngage serves as my main solution for retargeting and data segmentation. For example, when a user drops off at a certain point in my marketing funnel, I send push notifications, WhatsApp messages, and other communications to re-engage them. For data segmentation, I segment users based on geography and demography. Since I use MoEngage for retargeting, I have achieved a reduction in ROI of approximately 40% on user acquisition costs and cost per lead.

My main use case for MoEngage is for Pizza Hut marketing, where we run daily and recurring campaigns based on different use cases like loyalty campaigns, birthday campaigns, and welcome journeys, automatically sending notifications like emails and SMS based on a customer's opt-in status, while adhering to laws like CASL in Canada and CAN-SPAM in the USA to ensure compliance. One unique aspect of MoEngage is the real-time experience it offers customers, allowing me to set up campaigns where customers receive notifications immediately after registering on the Pizza Hut website, marking it as a purely real-time platform and enabling us to set up events such as add to cart and cart abandoned in a seamless manner.
My main use case for MoEngage is to drive user engagement via MoEngage campaigns and MoEngage flows feature and also track the user touchpoints across the app since we are a mobile-based company. A specific example of how I use MoEngage to drive engagement or track user touchpoints is by offering extra savings if customers use the balance they have invested on our app to shop with brands, involving a flow that tracks users from onboarding to brand redemption and incentivizes them along the way. In a campaign where we have app maintenance every second week, we send one push notification and one email notifying users that the app will not be available for thirty minutes during that specific time, utilizing the campaign feature for this one-time notification.
My main use case for MoEngage is for communicating with patients and using it as an engagement platform where we send timely reminders about upcoming appointments to patients, follow-up after treatment is done, and for running targeted campaigns. This allows us to make consistent and reliable communications with our patients. A specific example of how I use MoEngage for a campaign is when we run targeted campaigns. If we are running a free dental check-up, all the patients who haven't come to our clinic in the last six months receive reminders and push notifications about the free dental check-up from MoEngage. Another example is when we run a discount on our treatment, such as teeth cleaning. MoEngage sends reminders via push notifications, email, and WhatsApp to patients who haven't had their teeth cleaned for more than a year, so they can avail themselves of the services and help us to increase the number of patients visiting our clinic. We use MoEngage for sending reminders for upcoming appointments and for follow-up after treatment is done. This helps maintain consistent and reliable communication with patients, increases patient satisfaction levels, and also helps us to identify areas of improvement.
My main use case for MoEngage is to primarily focus on driving user engagement, retention, and lifecycle optimization. MoEngage has been a highly effective platform for enabling data-driven customer engagement strategies across our multiple channels. The key feature we use is user segmentation and personalization, excelling in behavioral segmentation. We create cohorts based on real-time and historical actions, allowing us to target users very precisely. From a product standpoint, it helps me deliver contextual communication, improving conversion rates, reducing churn, and leveraging personalization capabilities based on user attributes, activities, and preferences, which are especially powerful when running lifecycle campaigns. A specific example of how we've used MoEngage for user engagement is during new user onboarding on our platform. We assist users in their onboarding journey, addressing the significant drop-off between user sign-up and first key actions. The problem we noticed was a large percentage of users signing up but not completing the initial onboarding steps required to experience the core value of the product. We used MoEngage to identify drop-off points through behavioral data and created segments of users who did not complete onboarding within the first 24 hours. We designed a multi-level automated journey targeting these users, built a lifecycle flow, included push notifications reminding users to complete the onboarding, provided in-app messages guiding users step by step when they reopen their apps, and followed up with emails containing clear value propositions and quick start tips. We also implemented A/B testing on messaging to optimize performance. As a result, we saw significant improvements in onboarding completion rates, increased activation rates within the first 48 hours, and better early-stage user retention. Overall, MoEngage enables us to move from generic communication to highly contextual, behavioral-driven engagement, which directly impacts product adoption and retention.
