The typical use case for Oracle Big Data Appliance, which my clients use, is usually that the customer who has an Oracle application uses it because they can leverage the storage part. I don't need to ship my data from the Oracle database application into another data warehouse or big data solution. I have everything in one place. All the clients that I dealt with are Oracle houses.
