I use the solution in my company as it is the same version of the tools' IAM product but on the cloud. If we look at IAM before, there is AAM, which is adaptive access management, which was discontinued in the on-premises IAM product, but it is already an integrated part of Oracle Identity Cloud Service, so even multifactor authentication is a part of it. Integration with cloud applications is very easy using Oracle Identity Cloud Service compared to IAM.

We use the Oracle Identity Cloud Service because our customers mostly run Oracle applications, so it's the best solution. Now we are integrating it with Azure Active Directory and enhancing our applications with a hybrid cloud methodology. Our clients can use our Azure Active Directory with the Oracle Identity Cloud Service.
I use IDCS to support other cloud services including the Oracle API Platform, Digital Assistant, and Content Cloud. I also use the product as an OAuth 2.0 provider for custom applications including protecting runtime APIs and JET applications. We have also implemented the OIM Connector for synchronization of on-premise identities with the cloud.
