I would like DX NetOps to integrate with all Broadcom products in the future to make it closer to a rating of 10. I would particularly like it to integrate with the Symantec portfolio and the Carbon Black portfolio.

We have not used the predictive analytics capability of DX NetOps in impacting our network management processes. My experience with using automated root cause analysis is that it tells the symptoms and where the issue is; it is pretty easy to navigate around that. It identifies network issues, but the resolution is manual. DX NetOps is somewhat convoluted, and some of the programming constructs can be documented or driven through languages such as Python, Perl, and shell scripting, but they have their proprietary language, which may not be very user-friendly.
One improvement that could make the product better is to streamline its modules into a more cohesive solution. Currently, it requires multiple modules for various functionalities even when they use similar technologies. It would be more efficient to have a single solution for an enterprise, reducing the need to deploy multiple modules for each specific function. One useful addition to DX NetOps in the future could be automating tasks related to the network infrastructure. Currently, some tasks require manual and potentially complex processes, which can be risky. It would be beneficial if DX NetOps integrated native automation features to make these tasks easier and safer to execute directly within the network management system, eliminating the need for additional modules or tools.

It would be better if they had an NFA network analysis feature. We appreciate features like extended network security for bucket flows, but it would be better to have some IDs, IPS functionalities, DDoS, or something like that.
Technical support needs to be better. They need to be more knowledgeable and responsive. The solution has a big weakness in parts of network configuration management. The parts that collect our backup and the network devices to restore it, are very weak. We only have very basic functionality. They need to make it more sophisticated. It needs to be in compliance with security standards. The look and feel and the user experience need improvement. It hasn't really changed in more than ten years and seems dated. They need to enhance the user experience. The UI is very old.
