The user interface of GLPI by Teclib could be more modern and intuitive. Additionally, the initial configuration and setting up advanced roles can have a steep learning curve for new users. Better native integration with tools like Microsoft Teams or Slack would be great so users could open tickets directly from there. The mobile app could be improved for technicians working in the field.
At this time I do not have anything in mind internally where I would say this tool should have something to be better, since I do not use it in depth like maybe other companies that might get more out of it. I think I could get more out of it, but for now nothing comes to mind as an extra improvement. What it has so far really works very well and functions very well. One of the more critical evaluations I have regarding tools is that they allow user validation for login against Active Directory or some public cloud SSO, and this tool already has that. I am not even using one of the latest versions; I am using an older version, so the latest versions surely come much more compatible. This allows and simplifies administration a lot on a day-to-day basis.
A slight improvement in the UI would be nice. I know it is already simple, but it would be more user-friendly. I see GLPI by Teclib as a perfect product, so besides the UI improvement I mentioned, there is not anything else I would want to see enhanced or added.
One way GLPI by Teclib can be improved is by adding a connection with Power BI for an admin dashboard. I do not want the manager to see all tickets, but I want the manager to know the ticket statistics of their team. For example, I have a coordinator who manages 20 stores. She needs to know, for those 20 stores, what the resolution time statistics are and what the main problems her stores have. This improvement would be for a manager profile, who will not see the tickets, but will see the statistics.
One area for improvement is the occasional issues we encounter, which are not directly related to GLPI but are due to network providers. These include network errors like 502 and 504, indicating some failure in network communication with the server.
A stringent plugin management would benefit GLPI. You can extend GLPI with many plugins, but plugin development is handled by individuals worldwide. Since it's an open-source solution, plugins are developed independently, and you never know which plugin is compatible with your version of GLPI. I would suggest that the developers focus more on plugin management to ensure plugins are more consistent and compatible with most versions of GLPI. Currently, you always have to check if a plugin works with your GLPI install, which can be inconvenient.

GLPI by Teclib can be improved as sometimes it gets slowed down.

The solution has occasional lags and glitches.
