To be honest, I have not made the updates of IPFire since a long time, so I continue to use the 2017 asset. I do not know if today there is something I can add on it. I am just comfortable with it and I am happy to use it. If somebody were to ask me about the downsides of the solution, I would say the bad part. Honestly, I use the old version of IPFire; maybe because it does not have a real graphical part, but I am sure today the new one has graphical interfaces. So I cannot really say something negative about it because I really use it as a good VPN and a good firewall. If anything, a graphical interface would be what I want. I am sure the new version has it, but my version does not have it because I use the old one.
IPFire can be improved, but so far, there are no functionalities that have not been able to meet my needs. I wish IPFire could do more, but so far, I am happy with the solution. If there are other things that they can add, that would be beneficial.
