MySQL is a very good database, and I am generally satisfied with it. There might be minor improvements, however, I can’t identify any particular areas for improvement at the moment.
There could be improvements, particularly in Firebird, where the indexing is limited to just a single B-tree index, leading to poor performance for large-scale queries.

MySQL should have some kind of native query browser. If it could come with a built-in connector, then the relationship... We are just able to fix it. Right now, we have to install it separately. So a bit not too comfortable. But t that is true with any other database as well. Even if it is Azure MySQL or the others, we need to have SQL Management Studio to connect to them. All the databases are pretty much the same. If you do a comparative analysis, MySQL provides the same features.
There are a lot of cloud services hosting DBs on-cloud. In a production environment, upgrading from a lower to an upper version is a very long process that needs to be improved.

We often have to find third-party services to deploy the front end to the back end. The user interface is not simple. MySQL should develop a solution for querying and constructing databases online.

Integrating business intelligence or NLP solutions would help us save time and would prevent us from having to take a deep dive. Data problems seem to multiply on the system when you interact with it. Automation would save a lot of man-hours.

The solution uses Flash technology for Enterprise Manager but in version 19 is uses SDM 05. It's difficult to transfer from the previous version to the newest. They don't have adjacent types of data. Since we're in Iran, we don't have access to documentation, so all of the learning we do is with the solution itself. We only can look at the surface. The solution should offer memory management.
Sometimes MySQL does upgrades on the server. When we are still using the old server and when they integrate the upgrade, they don't carry along some of the old syntaxes. The versions don't sync.

The support is not that great. They're not really supporting directly anymore and relying on experts to figure out technical issues. Oracle does offer a website where you can open a service request, etc., however, general technical support could be improved.
