Project Description
Automation Technician and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering at the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA).
I work in industrial automation for mission-critical plants, covering everything from SCADA development and PLC programming to field commissioning, delivering solutions for the Oil and Gas, Power, Mobility, Chemical and Petrochemical industries, among others.
My work spans the full lifecycle of automation projects: technical documentation (network architecture, functional and technical specifications, memory maps, hardware configuration, test reports and operation and maintenance manuals), tag database and HMI screen development, PLC programming, PLC, SCADA and PIMS integration, commissioning with Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and post-startup support, managing databases with thousands of tags and providing specialized support under SLA to plants in continuous operation.
I am a certified developer for the Elipse E3 and Elipse Power SCADA platforms. I also have solid experience with GE iFix, Inductive Automation Ignition and Siemens WinCC, as well as PIMS solutions such as Proficy Historian and Elipse Plant Manager (EPM). I have hands-on experience programming PLCs from major manufacturers, including Siemens (TIA Portal), Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley), using IEC 61131-3 languages.
I work with virtualization of automation servers on VMware and Hyper-V, applied to redundant architectures and staging environments, and I have experience with Edge Computing for acquiring plant floor data and making it available to enterprise systems. I also lead migration and modernization of legacy systems, including SCADA version upgrades, HMI standardization according to ISA-101, communication driver replacement and tag re-addressing, as well as alarm management and rationalization projects based on ISA-18.2.
I am proficient in several programming languages, such as VBA/VBScript, C, Python and SQL, applied to process data handling and application development. I also keep up with industrial networks and widely used automation protocols, including EtherNet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, DNP3, OPC DA/UA and IEC 104, working as well on network troubleshooting and vulnerability remediation on OT servers.
