No disrespect intended, but total waste of your time comparing QlikView to Tableau. I recommend that you do your homework next time and review Qlik Sense along side Tableau.

Commented on Cognos is the most stable BI environment, but it gets far too complex for advanced setup.

BI platforms should be simple, but able to handle the complex. My comment is, of course, not rocket science, but sometimes we lose our way when trying to everything to everyone.

If you want real world proof. Have a bake off or POC with a real world set of criteria: 4 or more data sources, 100M or more records and mobile, etc. You'll be glad that you did!

You should look at Qlik Sense too.....http://www.qlik.com/us/explore/products/sense Also, you only pay licenses on the users not the server software with Qlik Sense.
