Answered a question: When evaluating Firewalls, what aspect do you think is the most important to look for?

It should work on Layer 8 technology, that can manipulate traffic as per policy and requirement. Yet all the logs should be available. This should not limited to AV\ IPS, all the core technologies (QOS, load balancing, NAT, content filtering,)should be supported on this.

I am a Technical Specialist having over 5+ years of experience in Information Technology. Worked during various platforms such as Windows Servers, Linux, Active Directory, Antivirus Server, Backup Tools/applications, and Patching.
