SPARC is RISC, yes, but SPARC uses register windows. Register windows are essentially an architectural relic - they don't really help performance these days, and in fact make implementation of out-of-order execution difficult.

1. Keep same memory 2. Keep same I/O response 3. Count total threads between x86 and SPARC 4. Keep in mind x86 has 0.5 multiplying factor 5. Identify SPARC multiplication factor 6. Thus for same processor license you can compare x86 and SPARC - ensuring apples to apples…
