I have practical experiences of directing, monitoring, managing and administering skills of infrastructure, information security and information system projects for more than 16 years.
Since October 2022 until present, I am working as ICT Project Management/Research and Development (IT PM/R&D) Team Leader to manage strategic projects implementation in Ethiopian Roads Administration (ERA).
Before I appointed as IT PM/R&D Team Leader, for more than 10 years I spent engaging myself at middle level, senior level and lead level positions in the Administration to manage different types of projects. In addition to this I work as a Project Coordinators, Consultant and IT officer in private and none government organizations for more than 2 years.
Some of major projects that I managed during this time are construction project management, network infrastructure implementation, datacenter infrastructure implementation that fulfilled tier-3 guideline, implementation of hyper-converged infrastructure, implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure, implementation of perimeter firewall, implementation of datacenter firewall, implementation of AVAYA unified communication and collaboration system, implementation of exchange service, implementation of Microsoft SharePoint, implementation of backup and recovery system, establishment of Security Operation Centre (SOC), establishment of SOAR, preparation for the establishment of ERP system, establishment of disaster recovery, preparation for the establishment of EDR/XDR, preparation for the establishment of WAAP, establishment of ISO/IEC 27001, establishment of ISO/IEC 20001 and others. These projects implemented by IT contractors and consultants which I work with as counterpart. These are IMC Worldwide, AH Consulting LTD, InfoMed Technologies P.L.C, IE Network Solutions PLC, Symbol Technologies, ALTA Computec, Silconetworks FZE and others.

Personally I believe the overall capability and experience that I have during all this time helps me to develop the skills of handling the interests of different stakeholder’s, users, donners and vendors. More than ever, personally, I am interested on pursuing reliable and new solution for all parties, and I am always struggle to bring enriched solution to the work that I do. My ultimate objective is to bring better, long term, conjointly beneficial IT solutions to all parties.
