Microsoft announced last week that it would be pushing back the release of its next SharePoint Server from 2015 to Q2 of 2016. The first public beta release will not be avilable until the end of 2015, even though executives have been on schedule to discuss the product at its Ignite conference in a couple of weeks.
Officials didn't detail reasons for pushing back SharePoint Server 2016's delivery date, but they also delayed the next release of Windows Server to calendar year 2016, so perhaps there are system dependencies that are interrelated. The next SharePoint Server release will include updates to content management, team collaboration and cloud-connected/hybrid functionality.
What do you think about Microsoft's decision to push back the release of SharePoint Server 2016? Let us know your thoughts below!

SharePoint, on the other hand, offers the following advantages over Amazon WorkDocs:
It has a wider range of features, such as workflow automation and business intelligence.
It is more integrated with other Microsoft products like Office 365.
It is more widely used, so more documentation and support are available.
If you are looking for a simple and secure solution that is easy to use, Amazon WorkDocs could be the solution for you. Still, if you need a more powerful and feature-rich solution, SharePoint may be a better option.
