Our clients often have the need to safeguard sensitive personal information, including customer data and credit card details. They also seek to establish clear governance policies regarding the usage, retention, and access to such information.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
We're implementing this solution to assist our customer service in gaining a more comprehensive view of their environment. They currently manage over two hundred applications but lack a clear understanding of which ones are critical, especially concerning compliance in the insurance industry. By implementing it, we aim to alleviate the burden, identify redundant processes, and streamline their operations. It's about addressing these specific needs and optimizing their workflow. We're focusing on aligning the features with their requirements, and they are making significant progress on this journey, helping each of their companies move towards a centralized and efficient approach.
What is most valuable?
This ease of use is crucial. It has an intuitive data quality engine that allows you to modify data, and apply rules to standardize it, and it's an excellent initial stage. Afterward, it seamlessly integrates with our data cataloging capabilities and is compatible with cloud-based data quality measures.
What needs improvement?
The on-premise features are undeniably robust, but having equally powerful capabilities in the cloud would be a significant enhancement.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been working with it for a year and a half.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It provides great stability capabilities. I would rate it eight out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It offers excellent scalability features. I would rate it nine out of ten.
How are customer service and support?
Technical support is readily accessible, and it's available even with their standard offering. They work closely with their partners, ensuring that if an issue arises, the software vendor collaborates with the partner to resolve it. They also facilitate issue resolution through ticketing, and this process is connected to the product management team which results in the response time for addressing concerns being notably efficient.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The setup is incredibly straightforward. They provide secure agents and other tools that make it exceptionally easy to get started.
What about the implementation team?
The duration of project implementation varies depending on complexity, but with proper planning, it can be managed effectively. They offer valuable online documentation to guide you through the process. To make the most of the tool, it's essential to have a balanced team comprising both business and technical users because the tool serves to bridge the gap between these two user types. Bridging that gap may require a collaborative effort, and it's challenging to quantify precisely, but it's essential for productive use, particularly for previous users, to achieve a successful implementation.
What was our ROI?
What other advice do I have?
When considering product options, especially within a cloud strategy, it's essential to delve into the details. While it's possible to use it as a platform encompassing various capabilities, like cloud data quality, sometimes it makes sense to leverage specific tools. For instance, if you're working with Microsoft 365 for governance in line with Azure's strategy, you can opt for Informatica or PurVIEW for specific tasks. This flexibility allows you to align tools with processes, acknowledging that there's no one-size-fits-all solution in software for diverse user needs. I would rate it seven out of ten.
