We're a consulting company, so we listen to what the customer needs and offer solutions. Let's say they are having a virtual environment and they need to provision a master image, then this is the easiest way for an IT admin and not expensive if you compare it to SSCM or something like that.
Most customers use Ivanti Automation to build their golden image for C2x or VMware. Some customers also use it for services and to deploy application settings. Some still use the solution with Microsoft MDT to deploy physical devices like laptops or desktops.
It's easy for the IT admins at the company to use. It isn't hard to understand, and there are lots of features you can use out of the box. If a feature isn't available in Ivanti Automation, you can always script it.
Their cloud relay feature needs to improve to compete with other products in cloud solutions like Azure and AWS. It should be easier to deploy or provision images in the cloud with Ivanti Automation. Better Azure integration would also help.
