What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten. There have been minor incidents when using Quantum Smart-1 Cloud in our company, but they were resolved quickly.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. You can manage hundreds of gateways with the solution. I have never run into any issues with the solution.

How are customer service and support?
There are a couple of things you can do on the on-premises side that you can't do in the cloud, because of which you need to engage the product's technical support to have those areas managed for you. It typically takes a day or so to get certain things done by technical support.

How was the initial setup?
I rate the product's initial setup phase a ten on a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult and ten is easy. Everything is pre-provisioned in the solution, so not much effort is required to complete the initial setup phase.
The solution is deployed on the public cloud.
The deployment process of Quantum Smart-1 Cloud takes around five to ten minutes.
For deployment, there is a need to create an account in Check Point Infinity Portal, after which you can activate Quantum Smart-1 Cloud module and start with the provisioning process, which is something that gets done automatically in a while.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Compared to the on-premises solution, I rate Quantum Smart-1 Cloud's pricing a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive. It is more cost-effective than the on-premises solution.
If you want to increase or retain more logs, then Check Point includes default log retention capability for which there are additional licensing costs.
What other advice do I have?
I would tell those planning to use the solution to ensure the amount of logs you generate so that there are no hidden costs. Check Point provides a pre-evaluation period of around two weeks so that you can get hands-on experience with it and see if it works for you.
