ESET Safetica is a basic endpoint-level DLP solution that gives the basic functionality at the browser gateway or endpoint.
ESET Safetica is a cost-effective solution for customers who need a small quantity along with a competitive price. Users who want the solution for compliance are procuring ESET Safetica.
ESET Safetica’s stability could be improved. The product is not that stable because sometimes it gets blocked.
I have been using ESET Safetica for the last month.
ESET Safetica is not a stable solution.
Since ESET Safetica is a SaaS product, it is technically and commercially scalable. I do a demonstration for more than 10 customers, but I close somewhere at around two or three customers.
I rate ESET Safetica a seven or eight out of ten for scalability.
ESET Safetica doesn't have local technical support. Timing is the main issue because we work in IST timing, and the solution's customer support operates from another country. Otherwise, ESET Safetica's technical support is good.
Since ESET Safetica is a SaaS product, it was deployed within an hour. You need only to install the agent. Since ESET Safetica is a SaaS-based solution, you need to log in, select the license, set some basic policies, and install the agent.
One system admin can by himself install ESET Safetica.
Customers need to pay for a yearly license per device.
ESET Safetica can be used by customers who want a solution for regulatory compliance and want to show that they're using DLP to protect their customer data. However, the solution has some gaps through which data can leak.
Overall, I rate ESET Safetica a seven out of ten.

We use the solution for endpoints.
The solution's most valuable feature is data leak protection.
Safetica ONE's technical support is too slow.
I have been using the product for six months.
I rate the product's stability a nine out of ten.
I rate Safetica ONE's scalability a five out of ten. My company has 25 users who use it daily.
We switched to Safetica ONE because of pricing and productivity.
Safetica ONE's deployment can be completed in a few weeks.
I did the deployment myself.
Safetica ONE is expensive.
I rate the solution a five out of ten.
My company has our own software, and we provide complete cloud security to our clients.
We really love the features of EDR, XDR, and DLP that the solution provides us. Additionally, the solution falls under budget for every SMB customer. Talking about competitors, Falcon and Trend Micro fall on the higher side when it comes to cost.
There are some minor issues with the price and support of the solution that needs to be improved.
There could be some more features like XDR in ESET Safetica when compared to Falcon, but at the current cost of ESET Safetica, we cannot say the features are less. The customer also understands the cost part of ESET Safetica. However, for an enterprise client, ESET Safetica is not a sufficient tool since the tool requires more features because Falcon is used for scanning and detecting security vulnerabilities, which is impossible in ESET Safetica. The aforementioned areas can be room for improvement in ESET Safetica.
If I had to grade and prepare a list, ESET Safetica would be in position four or five, Falcon would be in the top five, and Trend Micro would be in the top three.
There are some lack of features, like scanning in XDR and ADR. The solution needs to increase some more features to address or avoid or indicate the vulnerability in the system. ESET Safetica has to work on the aforementioned points.
I have worked as a system integrator with ESET Safetica for the last seven years. We are also the reseller and service provider of the solution.
The current version of the solution is stable.
It is easy to scale the solution.
I would rate the support of the solution a seven out of ten.
Neutral
The installation and training are very easy to understand and user-friendly.
The deployment takes hardly a few minutes.
It takes hardly one or two people to deploy the solution in an enterprise setup of 5,000 people. The solution is not difficult to maintain.
The solution is deployed on a hybrid cloud.
The pricing for ESET Safetica is less as compared to other solutions. The customers have to pay only for the license.
We work with all types of customers, including enterprise, medium, and small-scale customers.
The solution is good. It's not the best, but it's good compared to the other tools in the market. ESET Safetica is low on features compared to Falcon and SentinelOne.
If you are looking for good features with a pocket-friendly cost, you should go with Safetica.
Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
I use it for DLP, data classification and for our user behavior entity.
The most valuable feature is the data classification.
This solution could be improved if it was available on Linux as well. Currently it can only be deployed on Mac and Windows.
I have been using this solution for six months.
This is a stable solution.
This is a scalable solution.
The customer service and support is good.
Positive
The initial setup of this solution is straightforward. Three people were involved in the deployment.
We implemented this solution in-house.
The licensing cost for this solution depends on the deal size and your use case. In our instance, it costs $35 per user per year. This is a reasonable price.
This is a good solution, is easy to deploy and is scalable. It's better than the other solutions on the market.
I would rate it an eight out of ten.

In my experience, Safetica ONE is used by finance companies for data protection and compliance. Additionally, it is deployed for document management projects. We have accommodated different users under one license, enabling seamless installation across multiple devices.
Safetica helps monitor user activity and ensures sensitive data protection through its DLP features. It efficiently controls and monitors user actions in compliance with policy requirements.
The most valuable things about Safetica ONE are its comprehensive features, competitive pricing, and a strong focus on data security and compliance. Safetica offers enterprise-level security solutions that cater to the specific needs of businesses, making it a preferred choice for companies seeking robust data protection measures.
One area for improvement in Safetica is its firewall integration feature. Currently, it primarily supports FortiGate Firewalls, but clients using other firewall brands like Palo Alto or Cisco may face limitations.
I have been working with Safetica ONE for two years.
I have had experience with various DLP tools, including Forcepoint DLP and Sophos DLP. Comparing Safetica to other solutions, Safetica offers comprehensive features but may face challenges in pricing competitiveness, especially in certain regions.
I chose Safetica because it offers excellent security features and reliable support, which align well with our company's needs. Plus, it works smoothly with CentOS, and I appreciate the strong customer service provided by the Safetica team.
Safetica is user-friendly and easy to use. Overall, I would rate it as a nine out of ten.

Safetica is a DLP solution, but it's on the cloud. It's meant for companies that don't want to maintain the infrastructure or lack the resources to manage the solution. When you subscribe to the DLP, the system manages and protects your files well from the cloud.
Safetica supports network DLP.
I've been using Safetica for the last six months.
Safetica NXT is a highly stable product because it's a spinoff from the enterprise DLP Safetica One.
Safetica is scalable.
The technical support is satisfactory.
Safetica is on the cloud, so you don't need to set up anything. You subscribe, configure the policies, and it works.
The subscription cost varies by region. The one that I had was around $6 per user each month.
I rate ESET Safetica seven out of 10. I have to compare Safetica NXT to Safetica One, which is the enterprise solution. One has every other thing that you need, so I cannot give NXT a higher mark because it does not have the full features of the enterprise solutions. However, it's good enough for small and medium-sized enterprises or startups
Safetica NXT provides you with an enterprise-quality data loss prevention system that anybody can pick up because the cost is low and it's easy to manage. There's no need to deal with the headaches of managing the infrastructure.
We use Safetica ONE for data loss prevention and security.
Safetica ONE is easy to use and set up. We can set up rules and policies quickly.
The product needs to improve support.
I have been using the product for three years.
Safetica ONE is stable.
My company has five to ten customers using Safetica ONE. It is scalable.
The tool's deployment took 30 minutes to one hour to complete.
I rate Safetica ONE a nine out of ten.
To adhere to the guidelines provided by the Reserve Bank of India, most of the banks use Safetica ONE. There are data categories in Safetica ONE, which RBI uses to upload files. In the current scenario, RBI uses Safetica ONE to define their uploads under a particular domain.
The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is useful as a data loss prevention software, especially when you want to protect data, making it a very useful product.
Most of the things in the solution are good, because of which there is no need for improvement. Safetica ONE fails to support Linux. From an improvement perspective, Safetica ONE needs to support Linux, though it is not a compulsion since Linux offers customization capabilities but with a lot of restrictions, making it not so easy to use.
My recommendation related to the area of improvement in the solution is based on what most people want, which is for Safetica ONE to offer them Google Cloud Platform support. Safetica ONE is a good solution since it has most of the features to secure data.
I have been using Safetica ONE for a year and a half. My company has a partnership with Safetica in India. I work as a part of the support team for the solution in my company.
It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
