With the solution, I could not only record the scripts but also record and automate the exact manual process with my team, and after that, I automated the entire process to save time and function within a limited budget.

The most valuable feature of the solution is related to its ability to deliver immediate reports. TestProject has a specific tool with which it can be connected to BrowserStack. BrowserStack is a tool mainly for iOS and Android devices that helps to test various applications. So I was Okay. I had connected BrowserStack with TestProject.

The solution's reporting system should be clearer and easier to understand for a layperson. I and some other experts may be able to understand the solution's reporting system, but a layperson won't understand it. For a layperson, the solution should be easy to use.

Price-wise, TestProject is an expensive product. The product's current price should be lowered to attract potential customers.

I have been using TestProject for two years. I use the solution's latest version.

It is a stable solution. Though it is a stable product, over a period of time, it has become expensive.

It is a scalable solution.

As per my knowledge, the solution has 50,000 users.

TestProject's technical support team is friendly and cooperative. TestProject's technical support team answered all my queries within a few hours. In general, TestProject's technical support team is cooperative and very supportive.

Apart from TestProject, I have some past experience with Katalon Studio. Katalon Studio is more expensive and complex than TestProject. Compared to Katalon Studio, TestProject is an easy-to-use tool.

The initial setup of TestProject is straightforward. One needs to go into the depths of the tool to be able to complete the setup phase.

The solution's deployment phase took a month or two to be completed. I had taken a month to learn about TestProject before going ahead with the process of automating my entire product.

The solution is deployed on the cloud.

Though I can't remember the solution's deployment phase right now, I remember it was done with the help of Windows 10 and 4 GB RAM.

I have not seen any return on investment from the use of TestProject in my company.

With TestProject, there is a need to pay a certain amount towards its licensing costs. I had to specifically ask my manager to purchase the license for the solution. I could use the whole tool only after my manager purchased the license for the solution.

I had shown TestProject to my manager and other stakeholders, and it was only after getting their approval that I could use the tool on our company's systems.

When those who plan to use TestProject start using it, they will find the tool much easier to use. TestProject is one of the easiest tools you can use for free and automates your manual testing process. One can opt for the payment models provided by TestProject if you want to use the solution with more users.

I rate the overall product a nine out of ten.

We have a mobile app that we need to build regression testing packs, and we spent almost a year building quite a few test cases for automated testing on that mobile app so that they can run every day without manual intervention.

TestProject does not require you to script in any of the coding languages. You can record, playback, and configure the solution as per your need to make it run for the datasets. The script-less part of it was good for novice users.

The support is a weak point since they discontinued the tool. They went commercial, and most of our work wasn't useful anymore. The support or the transition plans for people who were already using the tool and had invested in the tool could have been better.

TestProject had a mission of "forever free," and then they commercialized. They came up with a new tool, commercialized with a license fee after that. However, the people using TestProject were having serious issues with instability and unavailability because it was a cloud-based tool. There was an instance where the tool was not available for a week. We lodged tickets with them, but because they were somewhat decommissioning that tool, there was not much support. Likewise, from their side, they kept telling us to move on to some other commercial tools they had to offer.

I've worked on this solution for a year.

I rate TestProject's stability a five out of ten because the tool was unavailable later for 50% of the time.

I rate TestProject's scalability a four out of ten. We had to dump and rework all our test cases when we started with a new tool. Twenty users were using the tool in my organization. We were planning to increase usage. We had quite a bit of investment in writing scripts in that particular tool, and we were planning to use it for at least the next couple of years.

Initially, the support was good when they had it. But later on, the support started falling away.

We have used open-source technologies like a combination of Java, Selenium, and APM, but it wasn't a tool. It was something that we built ourselves.

I rate the initial setup a ten out of ten because you just have to create an account and start automating. The setup was close to nothing.

The deployment of the tool can be quick. If you are good enough and write some test cases today, you could run them tomorrow. The deployment does not take more than one day.

During the deployment, the tool supported creating some jobs you could schedule at a particular time, and you just needed to add your test cases. A job creation and scheduling mechanism was built inside that tool, which you could use to execute your test cases.

The solution is free.

Since the tool is discontinued, I would not recommend it. I rate it a five out of ten.

The product has a very good record-and-play functionality.

It has a very good reporting aspect.

The stability is quite good.

The ease of web and mobile functional testing is pretty easy on TestProject.

It's an open-source solution. The documentation available is excellent for an open-source product.

Every tool has its pros and cons. For example, in this product, load testing and performance testing would be good to have. If it offered that, it would be one of the best tools that I have worked with.

The solution can't really scale.

We'd like to see a direct cloud from TestProject instead of some other third party. Right now, they're supporting cloud deployments and testing environments, such as Sauce Labs and BrowserStack.

I've been using the solution since I started with my company, which was four months ago. It hasn't been that long just yet.

The solution is quite stable. There are no bugs or glitches. I've never had downtime. It doesn't crash or freeze. The performance is reliable. 

The scalability needs to happen via other tools. A company would not be able to scale with just this solution.

For functionality, it is good, however, when it comes to the load performance, scalability is not that great. 

We're a smaller organization and have three or four users who use this product regularly.

I've never reached out to technical support. I cannot speak to how helpful or responsive they would be. 

That said, the solution is extremely thorough in terms of providing documentation, which is excellent. I'd rate the ability to get help very high based on this.

Previously, I was working with TestComplete SmartBear. That was on Windows desktop and it did pretty much what we wanted. Now, I'm into web and mobile and all that, which is a bit different.

The solution was already in place when I arrived at the organization. I can't speak to the setup process as I wasn't a part of the process. 

We do not need to worry about much maintenance. A bigger enterprise may need to worry more about maintenance, however, for us, it's fine. 

The solution is open-source and free to use.

We are just a customer and an end-user. We don't have a business relationship with TeamProject.

I would rate the solution at a six out of ten.

We are using TestProject for test automation.

The automation and AI are very good.

In an upcoming release, there should be a SaaS offering available.

I have been using TestProject within the last 12 months.

The solution is stable.

The solution is scalable and flexible.

Technical support is an area they need to work on, they are too slow to resolve issues.

My advice to those wanting to implement this solution is for them to test it in their environment before they purchase. They should follow the proof of concept process because every environment is different.

I'm a QA specialist and customer of TestProject. 

One of the valuable features the solution offers is the chance to be able to perform automatic tests by recording, and to create them without having coding knowledge. You need to be able to configure the elements but it doesn't require a high level of coding experience. I'm very pleased with the tool and the testing I've done has been positive. The only thing left now is to test how it behaves with the Angular solution. This solution is quite easy to use, it's great. Once we start using it, I think it will prove to be very functional and intuitive. Documentation is very clear and useful for a regular user to configure and use it.

I have had some difficulty trying to configure it on several browsers. I was able to configure several tests, but I can run in one browser only. Whenever I run a test they always fail when they need to pass between browsers. Perhaps that's my issue but I haven't found a solution to the problem. I've also noticed that the solution blocks a little when I try to use the auto-propose function. Those are the limitations I've identified till now but I need to carry out additional testing. Although documentation is good it would be helpful to be able to access instructions to help with understanding some of the functionalities.

I had worked with this solution several years ago and then moved to another solution. I've returned to TestProject over the past few weeks to refresh my knowledge. 

TestProject is an open-source tool, and it feels very complete for the kind of tool, the options and the service that it provides. 

I looked at Katalon Studio and was trying to run the solution over a software we've developed in the company. It's a web application that is developed in C# and Java and Angular. I was looking for an end-to-end tool that allows me to create automatic tests. I downloaded and tried to explore it but wasn't able to get the necessary performance. 

There are some things related to this solution that I'm not quite sure about yet so for now I will rate it an eight out of 10. 

I use this solution for QA testing in a DevOps framework.

Since implementing this solution, our code management has been reduced by 40% to 60%.

The most valuable feature is the codeless test creation or codeless scripting.

Using this solution has significantly reduced the maintenance required for test scripts.

It is easy to deploy and use.

TestProject needs better support for integration with other products to provide a better overall solution for test planning and test data management. 

I have been using this TestProject for more than seven years.

This is a stable solution. The stability has improved from version to version with bug fixes.

It is used in every project and we increase usage, depending on project requirements.

We use it across the enterprise, so it is scalable.

We have analysts, testers, and project managers who use TestProject. There are quite a few people who use it.

The technical support is good.

We did use another solution prior to TestProject and we switched for many reasons. It is easier to use, the code maintenance is low, and the recognition of the object is better.

The initial setup was straightforward. The deployment took one day and we did it project by project.

Our in-house team handled the deployment.

We have three people who are responsible for maintenance. One of them is a tool administrator and the other two are specialists.

My advice for anybody who is implementing this solution is to have a strategy around project structure for testing.

The biggest lesson that I have learned from using this tool is that it is a good way to help your testers and wrap up their work more quickly.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
